(Roadsters & Coupes) (E36/7. E36/8)
(1996 - 2002) In 1996 BMW added the Z3 to the lineup. First available only with the 1.9 liter engine the Z3 went on to carry every 6 cylinder produced between 1996 and 2002. A fun sporty little 2 seater came both in convertible and coupe form. Being a bit of a “parts bin” car the Z3 is part E30 part E36 but all original.
I am contemplating doing some interior trim in piano black accents for my topaz color/beige interior 2000 2.5. I have blacked out the grill, painted the touch lift on the trunk lid, removed the badges, color decals over all roundels and a color roadster license plate frame. Now I be to paint hockey sticks high gloss piano black and do the same to the burl wood console cut. I thought I wood offer to remove my wood cut and trade for new or used non-wood trim. I am open to all ideas. Thanks,Mike
If you can't sight someone to swap with you you could always create you wood console color. Others have done it with good results. affix pics of what you've done so far. Love those topaz blue Zs
