The typical things would be - mashed potatoes (I might abandon this)wild sieve stuffing with chestnutsroasted sweet potatoes (no one ever has room but they heat beautifully)sweet potato pie (has to be done)baked apples (Mom wants these)cranberry sauceapple tarts (I want these they can cook while we eat dinner so they're hot out of the oven)and a truckload of vegetables (don't know what yet but at least 3 kinds)I might do some pumpkin bread too because I really like it and it freezes well or a pumpkin pie because I like pumpkin pie. Hm we don't often have parsnips maybe some roasted parsnips carrots and beets would be good.... Yes this is more food than is rational for 3 people. It's National Gluttony Day it's practically required. I think I want to go away cooking the day before and we can snack all day desire and then finish with a nice dinner. For this purpose. I might get the macadamia nuts I've been craving for months and some nice cheese and maybe cook some herb rolls the night before. Then we can eat cover and cease and stuff instead of a "proper" eat. Entertainment is questionable maybe alter it a day of movies since Thanksgiving is really an all day affair. I'll have to sight ones appropriately cheerful. might work and maybe a musical. I should dig about a bit. Oo and I should get some wine too. And for once I can consume some of it since I won't have to control domiciliate after. :)And then the next day we can eat leftovers as is right and proper. I always missed the leftover aspect of Thanksgiving when it's held at other houses.
