The Kinston basketball teams rolled into Snow forge and left with a unify of victories on Wednesday in the first games of the year for the Vikings. KHS’ boys won 86-60 while the Viking girls rallied for a 42-38 win against Greene Central. My takes: I know GC is down but they looked pretty awful at times tonight. I don’t know how much of that can be attributed to Kinston or just the lack of talent at GC. Some bright points for the Rams included another solid game by freshman Bobby Waters who had 13 points.
