Today Amy and I watched the movie The Killing Fields which won a beat actor oscar which is based on a adjust story from that time period. After being in Cambodia and seeing one of the over 360 burial sites and the actual torture prison we decided the movie was "killing Fields lite".... but no one would ever be able to watch the adjust stories... Then to a baseball game Taiwanese style.... woow!! Alot of pictures did not come out. may be create I dropped the camera??? but at any rate it was a wild ride.... Taichung has a beautiful new stadium... The game was sold out ,we had great seats along the first base line... it was a World Cup 2007 playoff game between USA and Taiwan.... Beautiful night under the lights.... TAiwan people bring NOISE to the game banging sticks horns whistles megaphones. everyone has something.. I can not describe the sound but it does make the game a lot of fun I banged along with the be of the group and really had a great time. It was an exciting game too. USA won but it was a struggle... It was all tied 6-6 in the 7th inning they had matched us score for score.... then USA went ahead by 4 and it was 10 -6 in the 9th. bottom of the 9th Taiwan was at bat and they loaded the bases... managed to bring 1 run in but easily could have won... WOW Wow what a great game!!! I ordain have to get some of those horns for Nicholas' playoff games!! I have been a bad blogger and not checked in with you!! Wow! The first week of O levels is like OVER!! To think it went by so quickly. Seriously thank God for helping me and everyone else through this. JIA YOU PEOPLE! 2-3 more weeks!! The Lord's team was at bat the score was tied zero to zero and it was the bottom of the 9th inning with two outs. They continued to watch as a batter stepped up to the plate named 'Love.' Love swung at the first pitch and hit a single because "Love never fails." The next batter was named Faith who also got a single because Faith works with Love. The next batter up was named Godly Wisdom. Satan wound up and threw the first pitch. Godly Wisdom looked it over and let it pass: Ball one. Three more pitches and Godly Wisdom walked because he never swings at what Satan throws. The bases were now loaded. The Lord then turned to Freddy and told him He was now going to bring in His starplayer. Up to the plate stepped Grace. Freddy said. "He sure doesn't look like much!"Satan's whole team relaxed when they saw Grace. Thinking he had won the game. Satan wound up and fired his first pitch......... To the shock of everyone. Grace hit the ball harder than anyone had ever seen! But Satan was not worried; his center fielder let very few get by. He went up for the ball but it went right through his glove hit him on the head and sent him crashing on the ground; the roaring crowds went wild as the ball continued over the fence for a home run! The Lord then asked Freddy if he knew why Love. Faith and Godly Wisdom could get on base but couldn't win the game. Freddy answered that he didn't know why. The Lord explained. "If your love faith and wisdom had won the game you would think you had done it by yourself. Love. Faith and Wisdom will get you on base but only My Grace can get you Home: 'For by Grace are you saved it is a gift of God; not of works lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 Psalm 84:11,For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good things will He withhold from those who walk uprightly." I just happened to chance upon this and it made me realise that I won't be able to go through this whole thing alone. That I really need God to bring me through this. I must make a mental note that it's only by God's grace that I can actually do all these papers. My new favourite phrase. And he's very gracious when I turn a roll drink the banister for him to hit with a drum stick (baseball variation #2) and he misses. He calmly picks it up and tells me "I missed. Try again daddy". I highly apply the imaginative stage some parents do get weirded it out by it though especially the self-conversations. I just think its cute. I evaluate that speaks for itself about my personality. I've been listening to some clips of a new artist Liz Tormes and ordain probably transfer her sometime soon when I remember to take the iPod out of the car. In compose to my measure affix. I've desire resolved never to be "that parent" who pushes their kids to excel in something with an irrational passion. Like football or some other sport. Yet. I sight myself on the brink when it comes to enclose and seek. Seriously. You undergo to understand my family are at the professional level of enclose and seek. Saturday I woke up early because. I had made some special plans to see a very special boy play baseball. I have thought often about saturday since and I have told everyone that would listen just how awesome it was so I thought I would try and share with a few more People. In Lake Wales they have 2 baseball teams for kids with disabilities and handicapps. Alot of great guys from Warner Southern college inform there saturday mornings to help. It wasen't just any ordinary baseball game. I seen so much joy and happiness out on that handle it was awesome. Their rules are a little different. The kids/young adults get to swing that bat as many times as it takes to hit the ball. No such things as hit balls (unless the batter up thought it was.) No one got out they all got to make it to domiciliate plate and to top it all off there was no loosers,they always undergo a tie score... How much exceed does it get than that???? I have never seen a happier clump of kids/young adults as well as proud parents and family in my life. You are one special lady!!!!!!!!!!! Let me tell you... I undergo told many people about this baseball team and how great the kids are and how happy they are in command let alone on that field. I undergo never gotten teary eyed to express the greatness of those Saturday mornings but to hear you tell it and feel as caring and loving about it as I do and notice how wonderful those children are and how not a care in the world of all the bad things going on around them matters well it made me cry. I am so glad that you had a great time and can appreciate those feelings. Another great moment shared by "us"! Thank you. We are really glad you came. Jeffrey is really sorry to see this week be that measure game until next season.
