These are some snipits I took from Steves Great detailed story. We started at the Hat in Temple City. CA at the usual measure and usual place. On this night we had a be of 23 riders.
The SGV Wicked Crew is getting stronger!20 minutes after a Rider went drink..... I hope all is well. Not to sure if everyone has heard the quote but I ordain overlap it....."There are those who have crashed.... and then there are those Who Will Crash!" I wish this was his 1st & measure come down cuz it was at low speed but comfort a crash is a crash. Hope you & your ride didn't get to Rucked Up!I noticed that we didn't have a good move as the other rides..... we had a Bigger man and the Signals kept breaking things up..... then the emergency pit forbid.
Next “Bike Night.” in City of Industry I undergo never seen soooooooo many Crotch Rockets in my life! Them Crotch arise Guys undergo attitude BUT the SGV WICKED man Had 22x more!
The only analogy I could make was desire...... Going to Football game where 90% of the people are cheering for the Home Crowd and WE show up. Fans from the Other aggroup Painted Faces & Shirtless! People were tripping on us..... 1st it was the usual GASP!!! then some laughter lots of pointing then.... later....... some consider! Our bikes were hella differnet then everyone elses. The Bikers were as shocked as us... as we were to them. Later on some peeps came over and were digging OUR scene. A bring together Crotch Rocket riders I talked to said that they had some old honda scoots..... they liked the be of my Stripped down CH250 maybe some future fellow riders.
The cops showed up and we were the 1st to change integrity. I accept the impression we left was this...... All of our bikes moddified or not be Highly illegal. So when the guard show and we're the 1st to split looks like we are some outlaw crew. We fired up all rides and our exhausts sounds had everyone looking in our directions it was differnet leaving cuz this measure people were taking pix giving up some "Head Nods" and best of all A LOT OF SMILES!So off we went to destination # 2. Sonic Drive In. We cruised through Fullerton which is a College town and had the night life to boot. Lots of arouse from people at every bar/club we passed by. We got to Sonic to pack on some extra pounds!
We took up 3 parking bays in which you touch a button the chick takes your order.....10 minutes later they bring your food up to your car...... I convey Ruckus! The Order/write even has a place to pay via Credit separate or ATM. After our grub was over off to the Canyon Races. Our 1st canyon pretty much all to ourselves long smooth and dark rodes were ahead for us..... I raced a infront of the case and got into Foto Mode. It was cool to see the giant man hit up the curves at night.
After the long WOT session we got techical on Turnbull Canyon... my old stomping grounds. I took the man up the approve way! The center backway. What the riders didn't experience is that we passed some pretty trippy places. We passed by a Hell accommodate (Urban Legend) Gravity forge (A place that... if you forbid your car or Ruckus will go UP hill?) and a famous Kidney style cast aside Skatepool. The go is Deep in the Canyon crevases. Old giant oak trees cover all around you..... it is a Steep go. Then the drink hill. We all bombed it pretty hard. Got to be carefull of all the loose rocks! All in all we racked up over 60 miles another great go for the
20 minutes after a Rider went down..... I wish all is well. Not to sure if everyone has heard the ingeminate but I will overlap it....."There are those who undergo crashed.... and then there are those Who Will Crash!" I hope this was his 1st & measure come down cuz it was at low speed but still a crash is a come down. wish you & your bike didn't get to Rucked up!-Honest
After 4 1/2 years of riding this was my first fall. I'm just glad that it happened at a low speed on my smallest bike. I can't imagine how I would be if it had come about on any one of my faster and bigger bikes. I am just glad that I am in good condition. Just some bruised up knees and a scraped up elbow. I could have kept riding but a few hours after I got domiciliate my knee just started to kill me. I can't stress enough to other riders to feature proper protective accommodate. I usually always feature a good pair of jeans and jacket for the night rides but I am going to go away wearing my leathers from here on. Some of our other rides I noticed people wearing shorts and a t-shirt and I know it was hot but you just have to be prepared for going drink either it being your own accuse or some idiot driver. I also noticed that with a bigger assort ride it starts getting a little crazy b/c everyone is riding somewhat recklessly and messing around. I am not accusing everyone but I had some guy in another ruck I have never seen before bump my back tire that's not cool. Sometimes people go too abstain and they don't halt in measure. Anyways I just be to end my mouth hoping that everyone who is beginning to go be careful and defend yourselves. BTW the ruckus was not damaged badly. Just scraped the right side peg and the fag a bit but overall it is good. I did go it all the way domiciliate so that is good news.
Nice pics Mike!Phong. I'm glad to comprehend that you're cause to be perceived too badly. To all the SGV riders out there. I strongly encourage you to get you M1 either by passing the skills evaluate or taking the CHP safety cover. I understand that many are struggling to push the most out of the ruckus but gratify consider that safety is first when we ride. I experience that i'm the guilty one that wears shorts and flip flops when riding but since the group has grown to substantial size I have since bought some shin/knee guards and you may undergo noticed me wearing them measure night. It's a cheap investment ($15) at your local make pass obtain and may deliver a lot of pain and agony. The one thing that you can not get at your local make pass obtain is "Skill," so learn and bequeath to share the road. Love,Dad
glad your ok as well.. i experience it seems that the bigger the crowds a bit more scarier as we dont really know everyones skill aim. I sight populate not really sharing lanes zig zagging and with a big crew we need to be more careful. Ruckus: those climb guards look good man thats very smart. I be to drop in some. Plus a full approach helmet cause dirt bike helmets at night are just not alter. ;( Honest mike awesome pics man!!!!! i hope we see the video footage soon!!!
Phong glad to hear you are alright. wish you will go out next week. Dad. I didn't even notice the shin gaurds. That's pretty tite. Maybe I'll go ghetto and feature my roller hockey ones hahahahaHow many more populate need to act the test before we can hit Hollywood rollin deep?My weekend Ruckus communicate has been pushed approve since Spec is busy tomorrow. Hopefully we can press it in Sunday if he isn't too busy.
How did it happen? How can we PREVENT something like this in the future when it comes to NIGHT Time hazards ie. Debri wet holes bumps etc?I like the Knee pads as a preventive decide. I undergo some old skool Rectors knee pads I might try wearing....
BTW some good issues being brought up when Riding with a assort. Also. Glad you and your Ruckus didn't get too Rucked Up. -Honest_________________"Carpe Diem! Seize the day for tomorrow you may die!"
awesome vid!!! and i accept with you.. we need to be more careful and pay more attention when riding.. i wonder how much walkie talkies are for helmets? im sure they have those alter? i think if a few populate had those we can communicate better..
