Great all around game by the flamesDespite the competition they still did the things they needed to do to win on the road bring the same effort tommorrow its another win Horrible job by jim/craig.. usually at least one of you can play devils advocate... Edmonton is flat out terrible. We complain about the Flames transition game sucking well the Oilers make approximately three clean outlet passes tonight. It hurts not having Souray and Pitkanen but holy crap they were horrendous getting out of their zone. A win is a win though. Obviously the new Lombardi line was outstanding but I still thought Iginla completely dominated the game tonight even though he only got one point. __________________NHL Hockey is like a BBQ. You're either the Flames or you're just meat. The good thing about Oiler Blue Kool-aid is the drink boxes come with their own straws for fans to grasp at. Maclean providing some contrasting opinion to the CBC Kool-aid brigade. Gives it to the Oilers for spending piles on facility and cheaping out on Ryan Smyth... and going a full season past Prongergate and failing to address the holes in their lineup. The last time I've seen a team this bad was Team Canada playing Belerus or Kazakstan in the WJC. Lombardi. Nolan. Nystrom were great. Lombardi with some fancy plays and moves and setups. Nolan seems to really pull up his socks against the Oilers. Nystrom made a great play by taking a hit to make a play on the 2nd goal. Conroy is the best PKer on our PP unit. Stortini is useless. Gotta laugh at him. And the broadcasting brutal. Our first and second round draft picks both suspended at the beginning of the season. Nice... Nolan took control of this game. Any posters questioning why he was brought in got their answer tonight. Sure Amonte or Friesen would chip in but none of them took a game by the horns with a rookie and an excellent future player. Other than that the Oilers are terrible. God the entire CBC broadcast was awful. The camera work the commentating.. just awful. How can that be! it included the best pbp guy in the business Jim "Great Saaaaaaaaaaave Luongo" Hughson On a side note favourite CP whipping boys Aucoin and Eriksson both had very steady games tonight. And I'm loving the Regehr/Sarich pairing. True. Aucoin didn't really stand out to me (certainly didn't have a bad game) but Sarich and Eriksson I was both really impressed with. Very good active sticks and solid positioning by the whole core. He did make that one mistake where he dropped his stick so I'm sure we'll hear about how horrible he is as usual. Conroy just said that Iggy told him to loosen up and have fun. Great game by the flames even with all the Oylaz unlucky bounces. All of the CP whipping boys seemed to have pretty good games. Flames were getting their sticks in the right places a lot of the time breaking up passes taking the puck from Oilers players. Iggy didn't score but he was a beast out there.

Despite not winning any games the Guelph Tween B ringette squad had a great outing in the annual Elora-Fergus tournament Saturday. They faced some great competition from Owen Sound. Paris and Mitchell and the scores were all change state. Wins are overrated anyway. The girls (and one guy) have been doing very well against the C level teams winning virtually every game so far this season. These faster more aggressive games involving this team facing stronger opponents at the B division only make them better players and a more competitive aggroup overall. I should also say hats off to coach John for a job come up done in working with these kids so far this season. They’re growing in leaps and bounds and the parents appreciate it. Here’s hoping that things keep progressing along as nicely as it’s started. It looks like it’ll be a fun toughen. Ringette is making a comeback in BC’s capital!  Victoria ringette great to see them again! Starting a new ringette association a whole lot of work and it goes to show how dedicated our community is.  They undergo done a lot of the groundwork and they are now seeing some of the fruits of their labours.  Does anyone undergo any advice for our friends in Victoria?  Who out there has started an association successfully?

Excited/nervous/tired/envigorated/confident - other than that not much.  With the national aggroup going and preparations for WRC well under way there is a lot going on and there are a lot emotions/thoughts/concepts that go along with that. Vacation?  We had our first conference style hosted in lovely.  Then we had our first meeting for the new Board of Directors in historic.  Then we had our first fit committees meeting in rustic and finally had our friends from Team Canada in Canada’s Capital. Ottawa for a.  Whew.  In between time we launched got ready for the (sold almost already - and no one is thinking ringette quite yet!) signed on for partnerships with our friends at and and continued bring home the bacon on. 3.  What you WISH you had been doing all pass? Sure we wish we had been counting our extra funding from Sport Canada or maybe sending a delegation to back up launch Ringette Australia (someday!) but all around it was a pretty good pass!

I always expect a gracious and helpful welcome when I travel to see a provincial ringette group.  I am always surprised that every measure their warm welcome and enthusiasm for our sport exceeds my expectations. My meeting this weekend with Ringuette Quebec was no exception.  From a new association in Sept Isles to the established groups like St. Laurent they were excited to see me and to comprehend the message from Ringette Canada.  And desire always they were friendly fun and passionate about ringette.  It is never a wasted weekend to spend measure with friendly populate working on their passion!  It was also great to be able to present the Ringette Canada strategic plan () to such a express emotion group. Thanks to Louise. Florent and the rest of the Ringuette Quebec crew.  Merci a vous tous c’etait certainement de <<fun>> et il etait interressant a tout temps!

Our friends over at would emit this sentiment whole-heartedly.  At Freakonomics they are that showed that feature led to the a few years approve.  The contrary arguement and the better one is that led to bad outcomes.  Conversely good feature leads to good outcomes like teamwork develop and good citizenship. We all experience that ringette is more on the good feature side than the bad sport align.  How can we get even further on the good align? of Paris?  Can it help when there are disagreements in Canada?   modify modify  - An intrepid reader asks “what is good sport?”.  Good question.  is sport where the development of the person is greater than the development of the athlete which in turn is greater than the development of the aggroup.  The feature in the banliues of Paris was known as more of throwing out a soccer roll and letting boys play until someone scored or until someone bled.  Terrible sport.

Tell me a crazy anecdote from your childhood that will alter me laugh out loud. We used to feature evaluate skates and the goalkeepers used to pink sticks.  Also we wore bring in suits when we played that made us be desire the 1972 German olympic team. Yikes. 2. Tell me where you would be today if you could be anywhere doing anything with anyone… and money’s no disapprove! Starting out the training affect for aggroup Canada at the 2010 Olympics.  It is a long ways off still but we can keep dreaming our Olympic dream.  It won’t be in 2010 or 2014 or probably for a while after that but it can happen if we act on growing. 3. Telling populate that we are shrinking when really we have been growing for over 5 straight years.
