Mark Recchi’s agent Mark Curran has had discussions with GM Ray Shero about his client being scratched in four of the last five games. With the team playing come up there is no indication as to when or if Recchi will return to the lineup.
“It’s safe to say I’ve had some conversations with Ray regarding the current status,” Curran said yesterday. “When any player finds himself not playing you label and find out how things are what’s going on.”
Curran would not say whether his discussions with Shero included a change request.
After last night’s 2-1 loss to New Jersey. Michel Therrien looked tired and distraught. He was asked two questions at his post-game press conference to which he painfully replied to both. “It’s still early in the season,” before walking out of the room.
