"Penguins Drop to Senators, 4-1" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-11-13 12:30:57

The lost 4-1 at home on Thursday night to the #2 team in the league the. It was the Penguins' second straight loss after winning 7 of their prior 8 games. Despite the score the Penguins played very well especially coming off from an 8-2 loss against the on Tuesday night. In the first period it was all Penguins as they outshot the Senators 13-5. Despite the numerous chances the Penguins were unable to bury the puck behind goaltender........ The PK has to do better.. that was just bad fundamentals in the third and Ottawa took full advantage. You are right.. the Pens played a much better game. There was passion which was lacking against Philly. Yes the PK should do better and they need to convert on their turnovers and breakaways. The game against Philly was full of passion but the wrong kind of passion that puts you in the box while you watch your team get score on :).
