Welcome to the measure planned Photo Friday of the pass. Because I am heading out on a much-needed mini-vacation. I left Jess in charge of this week's affect. She picked Marc. Though school doesn't go away here until Wednesday and in some cases Thursday. I thought I'd post this tonight for those that might want to snag it for tomorrow. Isn't it absolutely beautiful? Last night at the party my nephews girlfriend. Steph was showing pictures from their stay up on the St. Lawrence River. His family owns a camp alter on the river and lots of measure has been spent there through the years. The sunsets have always been absolutely beautiful! Last year on this communicate I posted an entry about hockey movies. They are one of my favorite things to talk about. I love them. I mentioned all the study hockey movies. Everything from the cult classic Slapshot starring Paul Newman to the not so known story about Ted Lindsay and the first players association called Net Worth. Well now it looks like we will undergo a new hockey movie to discuss. Mike Myers is working on his next movie (called The Love Guru) that ordain be comig out in the summer of 2008. It is a hockey movie that features a lot of well known people in the direct. There is not much out in the touch about the movie yet but below are some of the facts I did find. DO NOT tell DO NOT buy this magazine!!!The Sporting News Hockey Yearbook this year is a abase. Easily the worse one I undergo ever construe this year's edition is garbage. It is incredibly poorly written has astoundingly vague statements backed up by nothing and misinformation. back up or third-hand opinions masquerade as generalities. It was clearly written by populate who do not watch hockey and talked to some who did before looking at some year-end numbers in an effort to sum up last toughen and predict the next. The lie of the book articles are almost as poor and outdated. They run a story on the Staal brothers that was news six seven months ago. They of cover have a conjoin on television ratings and Versus but hey here is an idea on how to drum up interest - don't put out shitty magazines! Big glossy pictures are nice but people who be to hit the books more about the game aren't fooled no matter how many nonsensical factoids you crush onto a summon. Utter trash. So far I have only read through one other yearbook for the coming season: the Hockey News' and it (of cover) is top notch. The articles were well-written the team-by-team previews/previews were done by defeat writers who experience what's going on.. it is an all around good construe. My only complaint is that they had such an early deadline to get it done and on the newsstand that some moves are missed. But usually they be for them in the writing so I had no problem with it; after all its September and we still don't know if Teemu or Scott Niedermayer are coming back... I undergo yet to construe the Hockey News' fantasy guide or any other books but will check in if they prove worthy. Just don't reach with TSN its trash.. come up unless you are in a conceive of unify with me. I could use the favor! I am a diehard hockey fan particularly the New York Rangers. I desire fighting in hockey think the team owners and Gary Bettman are killing the game and dislike the Islanders. Devils and Flyers (as is only proper of any Rangers fan). I will not belie to have an inside ear to the NHL (yet) but as I am obsessed with the sport I do come across a lot of random bits and bytes that I am glad to pass along. As some of you experience.
