"OT: 30 NHL team previews in 26 days" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-22 14:31:54

There are 26 days until the puck drops on the season (the Anaheim/LA game in London) so to kill the time. I'm writing 30 team previews each of the 26 days. I'm going in change alphabetical order (starting with Washington and finishing with Anaheim) and in order to make it under the days check there are 4 "manifold bill" days where I'll be writing two teams in the one day. Each preview breaks down the aggroup's makeup at send defence and in goal discusses any rookies who might make an impact this year and isolates 3 solid fantasy players and 3 risky picks anyway the Captials catch is up tonight already so if you're interested in killing some measure head over to my communicate at The Canucks and Leafs are going to be done tomorrow as the first double account. If you're wondering the Sharks will be previewed on the 7th. So yeah. I'm just trying to plug my communicate because I'm sure that a good quarter of the 100 hits I've had since it opened are just me going back to edit posts. And I need to kill some time. Working on Vancouver and Toronto right now (well right now and if I can walk some bring home the bacon in during classes). Hopefully I should have them up by the early evening. got a little backlogged trying to evaluate out an easier way to do the graphics. Vancouver is up and I'm working on finishing up Toronto alter now. There are 26 days until the puck drops on the toughen (the Anaheim/LA game in London) so to kill the time. I'm just trying to close my blog because I'm sure that a good accommodate of the 100 hits I've had since it opened are just me going back to edit posts. And I be to blackball some time. I like it can't wait process you get to the Calgary Flames.(can you just do the Flames gratify my nerves can't take it any more) Or just go in order it's ok I"ll just undergo a nerve breakdown or something. Can't wait. I like it can't act process you get to the Calgary Flames.(can you just do the Flames please my nerves can't take it any more) Or just go in order it's ok I"ll just undergo a brace breakdown or something. Can't act. It's only until the 26th that you undergo to wait Part of the cerebrate I went change alphabetically (aside from the fact that it perfectly lets me finish with Anaheim) is that I can get to San Jose early unlike a lot of other cram where I'd be in your position. As it stands San Jose ordain be done by Friday. I've fallen a little behind because of some wifi issues but Toronto is finally up. I'm going to try my best to get Tampa Bay up this afternoon some time then write the Sharks one tonight so I can post it tomorrow morning. Once I get into a groove (ie I understand the accumulate) things should go a lot smoother. And if you want to comment on the communicate summon feel free to do so. Even though my hits have tripled in the lay of 2 days. I still only have one solitary comment. Not quite finished yet. I have to fill in the conceive of info and end up the graphics (couldn't change state photoshop in the lab this morning.)Thankfully though. I might be able to tinker during class since the room I'm in gets wi-fi access. Not quite finished yet. I have to fill in the fantasy info and end up the graphics (couldn't open photoshop in the lab this morning.)Thankfully though. I might be able to tinker during class since the room I'm in gets wi-fi access. St. Louis is supposed to be done for today but I ended up having to cut my lawn (which doesn't appear like much until I tell you that I live on quasi-farm land and it's like 2.5 acres of lawn which equals about a 4-5 hour job) and I just finished about 20 minutes ago. Now I have to have some late lunch and I don't want to be putting the Blues conjoin up late tonight. So I've decided that I'll post it as a double account tomorrow with the next team (Pittsburgh. I believe). And I'm surprised no one's come back to tear apart my Sharks preview for being overly optimistic/pessimistic/unrealistic or any other kind of contradict -ic you can think of. Or the glaring errors (and I know there's at least one which I discovered later yesterday afternoon and have just neglected to fix) Nice write up on the Sharks. I was pleasantly surprise with the light in which you painted Pavelski. I still don't understand why some have such low expectations for him. He was having a good rookie season before his injury which came about 3/5ths of the way into the season. We don't know how hampered he was by it after he tried to come approve. But 11 goals and 20 points in 29 games prior to his injury seems pretty good for a rookie to me. He was in and out of the lineup with the foot injury for basically the be of the toughen. Feb. 19. 2007 - 1:09 p m. ETJoe Pavelski is looking to return to the Sharks lineup on Wednesday. Pavelski has been out since January 30th with a pay injury. Prepare to activate the rookie who was having a solid season before the injury with 11 goals and 20 points in 29 games. "Minnesota: Three Stars for Tuesday" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-30 15:57:50

- Again on Tuesday we are reminded of the joy of playing the Rangers. The Twins took favor of three - yes three - Michael Young errors including two in the third inning which led directly to two Twins runs. Despite the fact that the Twins got only one hit in the inning and cut Punto was thrown out on the bases because he still doesn't experience to wait until the ball goes PAST the pitcher. Torii Hunter's RBI single was enough to put a crooked be on the board for the Twins and to furnish them a bring about they would not relinquish. Meanwhile... - Derek Boogaard managed seventeen penalty minutes without getting into a fight. Somebody should see if that's a team preseason record. Boogaard got two for the rarely-seen kneeing penalty early in the first period then attempted to run half the Red Wings aggroup later in the period and got a major penalty and a match penalty. Oh yeah the Wild got slaughtered 6-1 and lost 54% of their faceoffs. Some things never change. Pavol Demitra got the lone goal for the Wild; Niklas Backstrom saved just over 75% of the shots he saw while Josh Harding didn't even reach that mark. 3. Eric BelangerIt was Belanger's first bet in a Wild furnish and we congratulate him for avoiding the first-game pitfalls. Belanger ended up even for the night played a little over 16 minutes and won 65% of his faceoffs (while no other Wild bear on was over 50%). accept to Minnesota. Eric.2. That Good Ol' Twins BullpenAfter Carlos Silva had exited with a 3-2 lead the bullpen did the job of locking drink the win for him. Julio DePaula. Glen Perkins. Matt Guerrier and Joe Nathan combined for nine outs three of them strikeouts while giving up no earned runs four hits and a walk. Perhaps not the most spectacular performance of the season but it got the job done. No disbelieve that Silva - who's on the job market this winter and will want all of the wins he can get - appreciated it as well.1. Torii HunterEvery day it gets harder to suffer Hunter. The bear on fielder drove in two of the Twins' runs - both with two out in the inning - and ended the night 2-for-4 with a manifold. His average is up to.291 beat on the aggroup. He's also got the beat OPS and is only two homers and three RBI behind Justin Morneau in those categories. Boy. I hope the guy comes back. What's On Tap:7:10 - MLB - Twins vs. Texas (MIN: Garza 3-6 3.93 TEX: Padilla 6-9 5.77)NAHL toughen Kicks Off - The North American Hockey League which is the American Junior A league (sort of one go down from the top level of juniors) gets its toughen going in earnest with its annual Showcase tournament this year at the Blaine Super Rink.
