Actually nevermind that's Crosby. Kovalchuk is closer to pre-SB-winning Favre. That's not to say Kov isn't great but as more of these goalies see more shots from Ovechkin. I think Ovechkin will move up in future polls. Everyone on that list has at least 2 more years undergo than Alex. And man isn't it amazing that the Thrashers once had Kovalchuk AND Heatley and they comfort sucked...

My only question is.. why hasn't Osgood broken out the "Wizard of Oz" mask they made for him after his rookie season? I would say by now he has more than earned it. both goalies are great in their own respect. However they both have their downsides. Ozzie usually has the tendency to let in a weak goal or 2 every once in.

After Edmonton goalie Mathieu Garon stopped Brad Isbister. Horcoff's wrist shot eluded Vancouver goalie Roberto Luongo banging off the left post and into the net.
