Mike Ribeiro is known for his nifty moves on the ice. But off the ice the former Montreal Canadiens bear on likes to act his apparel as sharp as his hockey compete. Ribeiro loves to go shopping and he said he's visiting the stores "almost every day." That includes road trips where Ribeiro also likes to stock up on clothes and accessories.
So what are his favorite articles? "I love getting shoes and hats," he said. "But if I like something. I'll buy it. It doesn't be."
Ribeiro admits he was a little concerned that Dallas wouldn't have the same shopping as Montreal. So far he's not disappointed.
Antti Miettinen. The forward who struggled offensively last toughen had two pretty goals during the Stars' scrimmages Saturday. His first was a sweet breakaway shot and his other was a polish wrister on the glove align.

"We undergo an abundance of forwards and for scrimmages we like to undergo four lines," Dave Tippett said. Without those players who sat out Saturday each aggroup had 12 forwards and kept four lines going.
Defenseman Mattias Norstrom had a breakaway goal of his own during the practice drawing a smile from Dave Tippett after practice.
"Another defenseman giving it a run for the shootout [lineup]," Tippett joked. "I told them. 'Your defenseman is Zubie [Sergei Zubov] and unless you're taking his sight there's no chance.'"
Sergei Zubov had off-season surgery for a sports hernia but so far he doesn't seem to be suffering any effects. Zubov has looked strong the first two days of training dwell.
