"NFL Scores and Wrap Up Week 8" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-04-08 03:51:46

The matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots has set up perfectly for the NFL and CBS next week as well as us fans. Both teams crushed their opponents. The Colts defeat the Panthers 31-7 and the Patriots trounced the Redskins 52-7. In London the Giants hung on against the Dolphins on a muddy "pitch" and the rain coming down most of the game. Other teams doing well were Detroit. Philadelphia and Cleveland. The Browns made a big statement that they may be competing for the Wild Card or even the AFC North if the Steelers walk. And on the west glide. San Diego recovered well from their tough week dismantling the Texans 35-10 and proving that they are a team to beat in the AFC. Remember no Sunday Night game due to the World Series being on tonight. *-Represents Mud Free Sports PredictionWEEK 8 (Fox doubleheader pass)

"Sports Hut NFL Week 11 First Impressions" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-20 21:49:11

ALL IMAGES USED ARE FROM NFL. COM/GETTY IMAGESWell folks week 11 of the NFL season is just about in the books with the only remaining game being Tennessee at Denver ( 8:30PM). It's been an interesting week to say the least with a few surprises and a few obvious ones. I ordain be doing a complete analysis of this weeks games tommorow after the Monday Night game. I will also be posting what my picks were this week (sorry I didn't post them on here this week. I will next week). Also be for my week 12 power rankings to come out on Tuesday or early Wednesday. I also want to thank those of you who undergo commented on stories! I would love to alter this blog as interactive as possible and I will try to answer my posts or questions you may have. Here are just a couple highlights of what went on this week in the NFL..... Chicago 23. Seattle 30: Being from Seattle I feel its appropriate for me to get this one out of the way first. The cerebrate this game is even on the list is because it was a tell-all bet for the Seahawks. After measure weeks over-whelming win of the San Fransisco 49ers. I wasn't sure what to think. Could have been a great team effort or because they were taking on one of the worst offenses in the league. This week really proved to me that the Hawks' have gotten their collective crap together and are on a positive path. Last week Matt Hasselbeck (QB) threw for 278 yards and 2 touchdowns and Mo Morris (RB) rushed for 87 Yards and a TD. This week the madness through the air continued as Mike Holmgrens new bet intend continues to get better. Seattle was down by 7 right out of the gate after a Cedric Benson broke out a 43-yard TD run on the second play of the game. However. I was impressed by Seattle's ability to work through the seemingly dominate play of Chicago's offense in the first quarter. Hasselbeck was 30 of 44 with 337 yards and 2 TDs and no INTs. Mo Morris had another good day in the backfield with 87 Yards including a 19 yd touchdown run. Another notable stat was D. J. Hackett who finished with 9 receptions for 139 yds and a TD. Not too shabby Seattle where are you taking us this season? We are soon to find out with only 6 games remaining. Indianapolis 13. Kansas City 10: Whats the world coming to when the Colts can barely squeak a win out against the Kansas City Chiefs? Adam Vinatieri has been struggling lately and it only continued to get worse on Sunday with misses from 38 and 49 yards out. However he was able to come into a game knotted at 10 all.

They fumbled three times one which was returned for a score by the Lions' Dewayne color. Detroit's Shaun Rogers also returned a Patrick Ramsey interception for a touchdown. Minnesota 35. San Diego 17 - Last but not least the Vikings shocked the Chargers in a big way in Minneapolis. Rookie Adrian Peterson had a monster bet for the domiciliate team rushing for an NFL-record 296 yards and three scores. Peterson has 1,036 yards rushing for the toughen putting him on pace to smash Eric Dickerson's rookie record of 1,808 yards set in 1983.

"NFL Scores And Updates" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-22 13:52:52

-Green Bay 6. Chiefs 3: The Falcons game is blacked out so I’ve been forced to check this game and it hasn’t been pretty — the Packers are moving the roll but can’t be to score and the Chiefs just aren’t moving the ball. I never thought I’d say Brodie Croyle would be the answer for a aggroup playing in the NFL but the Chiefs have to pull the close on Damon Huard at some inform. -Denver 0. Detroit 13: Jay Cutler’s out and Patrick Ramsey’s in. The Lions are sticking to the running bet for the third week in a row and it’s working. Calvin Johnson alert: Two catches. 30 yards. -Bengals 14. Bills 10: Buffalo’s been dominating the bet but just before the half the Bengals took a impel off 100 yards for a touchdown. -Panthers 0. Titans 10: Vince Young has thrown for only 41 yards but the Titans are sticking to their winning formula: Defense and running. And somehow it’s working every week. David Carr is 6/10 for 26 yards and a pick. Hard to imagine he’d be worse at Carolina than he was in Texas. -Cardinals 3. Bucs 10: Kurt Warner may want to sit this one out: He’s 3/11 for 63 yards and a pick. -Redskins 6. Jets 17: Say goodbye to Joe Gibbs. The man can’t produce an offense even against the J-E-T-S. Jets! Jets! Jets!
