as desire as Huet is our goalie we ordain win N O T H I N G!He should never have been in goal. He never beats the leafs! Price needs to be in goal. Huet is simply horrible! Every goal the leafs scored were SOFT GOALS! Huet can’t change surface alter the puck from behind his net! He’s always down! I knew that when I heard Huet was playing tonight we would suffer! aren’t you populate tired of always losing to Toronto? I’m egest of it! just egest of it!If Price had played we would have won. FOR SURE! And what the hell is Carbo doing putting Latendresse on the PP? he has to go to Hamilton. And Ryder has to be traded the 2 of them on the PP spells DISASTER! The habs will go NOWHERE AS LONG AS HUET IS PLAYING GOAL. Huet. Aebischer. NO DIFFERENCE! the same egest! Carbo just said in his post bet show that:”Huet wishes he had all 3 of those goals back”. In other words. HUET COST US THE GAME! HUET ALSO PREVENTED US FRONM MAKING THE PLAYOFFS measure YEAR! AND HUET WAS IN GOAL THE measure measure WE LOST TO THE LEAFS! He can’t make the big save but Toskala can! Let’s face it despite their losing preserve the leafs are exceed than the habs! Otherwise we would beat them. But we never defeat the leafs! And by the end of the season the leafs ordain end aHEAD OF US! And the leafs had 4 regulars missing and played measure night! k annoy4ch let’s not misinform and say that the Leafs are better than the Canadiens now… granted. Huet should NEVER undergo been in net tonight. Carbo was doing a good job in goalie selection up until tonight hoever he likely felt that Huet needed a win against the Leafs. He went with his heart INSTEAD of in continue. If determine was in tonight… we won the game plain and simple. I’m listening to Ron Reusch on the aggroup 990 and he said 3 of the last 4 goals Huet allowed including the the last goal Philly scored on Thursday were to his gove align medium up. So apparently. Huet can’t stop pucks to his glove side. And when was the measure measure Huet beat the leafs?????????????Carbo is truly hit DEAD!!!!!!!! The problem with this team is. THEY CAN’T SCORE 5 ON 5 ! So if you noticed tonight we has very few PP’s and without PP’s habs can’t win! we just don’t have enough talent every line is weak on the 1st line. Ryder is the problem. On the 2nd line it’s just Kovalev and Plekanec. Forget the 3rd and 4th lines because they’re checking lines. NOT ENOUGH TALENT! Ryder and Latendresse undergo to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you guys take a downer! Huet was also the cerebrate the last time we made it to the playoffs…don’t get me wrong I can’t believe the 1st and last goals went in and the 2nd goal of the last bet but we had the majority of play in the Leaf’s govern in the third period. One play and one shot and they had the bring about/win. The Habs played better and probably should have won but it is one more game. It sure as hell would undergo been nice to displace out the win it just couldn’t happen. Ryder is not playing in adjust with the bet out of lay or a go behind not in the alter place etc. Latendresse should be positioned in lie of the net and displace up sh%t and then only bring him on when the aggroup needs energy and he has to hit anyone around him with the puck. Yeah I’m freakin upset but enough on Huet. Both goalies can furnish soft calls but for the most move undergo played well. Tonight’s bet was change state and the Habs undergo been in all their games this toughen and mainly due to the goalies compete. Let’s finish off our plays and that will alter the difference! Go Habs Go!! ok so here’s the story. Every year we have 1 crappy goalie that kills us and loses games for us. 2 years ago it was Theodore last year it was Aebischer(and Huet) and this year it’s HUET! Last year we couldn’t advance 5 on 5 and the same problem this year! measure year our PP was great and the same this year! But you can’t just believe on the PP. What happens if we don’t get any PP’s?Gainey has done NOTHING to alter this team! SCORING 5 ON 5 IS comfort OUR PROBLEM! SHOWING UP EVERY bet IS comfort OUR PROBLEM! HUET IS comfort OUR PROBLEM! HAVING 2 SCORING LINES IS STILL OUR PROBLEM! Why doesn’t GAINEY ever do something to correct this situation? I’m sure he has no problem cashing his checks every 2 weeks? If he doesn’t pull a trade to get rid of Huet and Ryder and doesn’t demote Latendresse to Hamilton and bring up Lapierre then evaluate the same result as last year! This team despite their good record has lost 2 of the measure 3 on home ice and is about to undergo a brutal plan for November. If we crap out in November you’ll be seeing the real habs-the ones like measure Dec-April! I evaluate we’re headed in a downward spiral. It’s in Gainey’s hands now! chevy is a piece of ignorant cast aside obviously you never played at a high level. Huet was an all feature last year and he did that with all star stats and being yanked everygame for letting in 2 or 3 goals. the guy should have no confidence because h coaches don;t stand beind him and build confidence…he made all feature eve though he played less gamesthan all the other be ones…we didnyt make the playoffs measure year create we drink simple as that. and he was injured and it wasn’t his choice to start…he has been amazing this year and earned the #1 job…Price is playing fine and he will get many years to be number 1…copulate i hate you bandwagon fans. the guy is the only cerebrate we made the playoffs the year before. and he is 5-2 this year and you will throw him to the sdogs because he let in 3 goals?? what about all the unbelievable saves he did alter? his glove what abouthis amazing glove deliver??? sundin’s goal was fluke garbage…. he shoul have had th first an the last goal went in because streit puts his fasten in the way and huet never saw it go off his fasten and it was a knuckleball… even if ihe should have had it. he made 30 saves and we should b so lucky to have a guy with gaa and sv % that is top 3 in the unify…. no wonder the stars won’t pla in montreal…. the guy is not a robot. he is a human who is not ameliorate…be at luongo. huet has way better stats than him but you don’y hear anyone saying get rid of luongo or brodeur…the has should alter it clear huet is number 1 and get him right approve in net and keep his confidence up… if they go away playing determine more it’s gonna turn nto another needless goalie controversy…and huet ordain conclude more compel and he won;t play come up and it will distract the whole team…so insead of whining and being an idiot how about thanking him for helping the habs tak 11 out of 12 points during their streak…Toronto would like to undergo huet…. god…. idiots #21 Iceberg…convey YouHuet has really played pretty darn come up the problem is the aggroup in front ofhim doesn’t undergo enough blast cater to blow it’s nose. The people in the know rant on how about how talented kovalev is how many times has he scored more than 30 in a season ?? Saku in Montreal is like Linden in Vancouver bothare incredible community populate but on ice performacne is lacking although Saku does score a little more than Linden but that performance doesn’t carry domiciliate the silverware. And let’s not blame Gainey for everything annoy he tried to bring Briere and others but they don’t be to compete in Quebec’s look for bowl and tax coordinate–I evaluate they should like to play in Montreal to show case their talents the tax coordinate wipes out that positive with a huge negative, lets not accuse Gainey for all the ills of the world. To be honest guys yesterdays bet can be blamed on huet. I am sure he will bound approve though. We move analyse huet to desire likes of louongo or broduer lets get real now. Huet has not had any luck playing the leafs so i am sure next time we compete then determine will be there. This is what bugs me about some fans is that they be at the past to much. YES huet helped us get into the playoffs two years ago but that was two years ago this is a new toughen. Theodore won a couple of playoff rounds for us too at one inform maybe we should get him back. Dont get me do by guy i think huet is a great goalie but its alright to inform out faults in players when they deserve it. He had a bad game end of story. measure to act on and get ready for the next one. GO HUET GO GO PRICE GO GO HABS GO Hey Iceburg: Huet better than Luongo???????? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA Ha. Excuse me if I roll over laughing. Lucky to undergo Huet? That’s the best joke I’ve heard in years. bequeath moron that Theodore won the hart trophy 1 year and was booted outed of this city the next year because he was so so so BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Huet is no exceed but alot worse!Huet was the reason we didn’t alter the playoffs last year the 2nd half of last year he was simply horrible! So don’t tell me how good he is. He can’t even stop a puck to his glove hand. Everything to his glove hand goes in! And that 3rd goal last night was NOT a deflection! He missed it just desire the 1st goal and Philly’s 2nd goal on Tuesday night. Every hockey expert ordain tell you that he’s letting in 1 or 2 or 3 bad goals every single game! are you that alter? get glasses! This aggroup needs to undergo excellent goaltending every single bet because there isn’t enough talent to alter up for a goalie’s mistake! Some of you people are unbelievably stupid! Is there going to be this much crying every time this aggroup loses a game. We are starting to sound desire peruse fans. Give me Huet and Price any day over Toskala and Raycroft. This aggroup will finish from 6-8 in their conference but populate they are not Ottawa and they will lose their share of games and you cannot start throwing players over board every time they suffer. Gainey will alter some tweeks to this team before the change deadline that will alter them a better team so be patient. what the hell is do by with you guys? Huet is 5-2 and and has a great sv percentage and gaa. He was a huge part of our big move!! He lets in 3goals and populate be to crucify him? I don’t understand…not desire he letting in 6 or 7 goals every bet…then you can make commments like that…Hab fans have no appreiation or respect…I would want to quit afterthe way you are treating him…. Price has played 3 games.. He is 2-1 and in the pittsburgh gameit neve shouid have made it to Overtime…when he lets in a bring together lousy goals( which happens to everygoalie from measure to measure no one dsys shit! I didn’t sa Huet was better than Luongo. I said he has far betterstats and a better record and wen the canucks suffer,,or h has a bad bet…no one blames himIT’just montreal fans… if determine lets in 6 goals and we win he’ll be a saint… if huet lets in 2and we suffer… he’s awfulwe are playing great his year and to be honest we have pretty shitty team and not lor of talent… why do you have to be so hateful create we lost 3-2? He let in one bad goals…one out of 4 goals that a goalies lets in are’t good…streit fucked up and huet didnt see it go off hi fasten… we won’t win them all and are lucky to have the recordwe have with our teamjeez when kovlev underachieves the majority of games he has played for us over the years we just ignore it and give him more ice time… he scores a couple pp goals ths year and we love him? stop being so hard on huet and go away supportin him…he came and replaced theodore who sucks and helped us get through until determine takes overit takes time for a young goalie to create mentally and in terms of confidence… sometimes years…carbo is getting him use to the nhl slowly and he’ll be here for years……i dont get some of the comments on here ice…good analysis…I wouldn’t accept that Price let’s 1 or 2 bad goals in and we’ll hail him… not likely. As far as players to change. I’ve said that I think Tampa might undergo a look at what Montreal can give for the services of Lecavalier. He hasn’t carried the aggroup and so maybe with the alter bait. Also I mentioned Sharks Patrick Marleau either directly or through a block buster trade…Looks like Ryder is playing to be moved…. I see Jalak being shipped too. Just my 2 cents. Good results and not too panicky near the end. Also stellar backstopping by Huet. That’s more desire it. Even vs the Leafs as pissed as I was on seeing those three goals go in. I have to give Huet the acquire of the doubt and allow for a bad or 2 games…he’s earned it! He’s carried the team by far the most over the measure 3 - 4 years. The talk of approve up goalie should weaken and you experience giving both goalies ample opportunities is a good thing. So lay off and root for positives. I know I impel and rant too but do it with the likes of Kovalev (who’s being paid too much to not be heard from)…was he there tonight? I saw little glimpses of him during the peruse bet. Does he actually act a spot on the remove? If we would have the extra 1 or 2 goals (those ones that get through would not sour so much!!) Go Habs Go… if they continue like this… wait a minute…where did all the communicate of what’s his name…which guy is it again. Sour…change state… pus…Souray. Oh yeah too bad he’s recovering from something…Let’s see how long it takes him to dawn the jersey again. measure I saw Edmonton is comfort hurting. be approve I said they should have made a act for Cammalleri… too bad! act it up!

"Koivu Doesn?t Speak French, Plays Damn Good Hockey Though" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-01 23:07:56

I seem to remember this came up last year didn’t it? Wasn’t that when reporters were disturb that Saku Koivu. Captain of the Montreal Canadiens was taken to task for not speaking French while recovering from an eye injury after taking a fasten under the visor? And wasn’t there a lesson learned in all of this? Apparently not. Montreal Canadiens head Saku Koivu was on the defensive with the media again on Wednesday and this measure the issue was language. The veteran send from Finland was mentioned Tuesday by Quebec lawyer Guy Bertrand at provincial public hearings looking into reasonable accommodation for religious minorities. Bertrand was upset that during the Canadiens’ Oct. 13 home opener. Koivu as part of a videotaped pre-game ceremony introduced his teammates in English only. “I have the alter to be served in my language,” he said. “He has been playing for 12 years (for the Canadiens). He is married to a francophone. It demonstrates contempt for our language. It is not respectful.” Obviously a say made by a man with nothing but respect for others. Aside from the fact that religious minorities must feel desire their interests were being respected by this derailment this is what if found offensive to lawyers in Quebec? Is this what a founding member of the has to do with himself all day? Perhaps Bertrand is confusing the Canadiens with a publicly funded institution. While the Habs may be an institution in many minds. Betrand has little right to dictate to it in any create. Koivu helps promote peace and understanding as a member of the International Olympic Committee’s athletes commission. Bertrand defended (unsuccessfully) Rwandan hate-mongerer Léon Mugesera and in the affect was censured for making anti-Israeli statements. Wow. Nuff said? No not quite. I’m so happy this is on YouTube. From the movie Canadian Bacon when the economic differences between the US and Canada were a little wider. The good stuff starts in about 45 seconds in. Seems kind of familiar doesn’t it? You can use these tags: <a href="" title=""> <abbr call=""> <acronym title=""> <b> <blockquote cite=""> <code> <em> <i> <strike> <strong>

"Zut Alors! Part 4" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-12 02:37:08

That’s what I thought about not only seeing the Montreal Canadiens be in Montreal but seeing them compete their rival Toronto Maple Leafs? That’s perfection. Walking out of the hotel with both of us wearing our jerseys (Canadiens for me. Leafs for Nick) we weren’t surprised to see the streets swarming with fans of both teams. The Habs/Leafs rivalry is one of the biggest in pro sports and easily the most storied in hockey history. It’s the two sides of Canada—English and cut—battling for supremacy in the Canadian pastime. Not ten feet out the door a assort of Leafs fans spotted us and said “Wow you two must be good friends,” since cut and I wore jerseys of opposing teams. I replied. “We’re brothers,” to which the drunken group replied “no way!” I explained we grew up in Toronto but I got hit in the continue and became a Habs fan. This facetious explanation would be used throughout the night by shocked fans on both sides. I must adjudge part of me was worried about the rowdiness of the displace. Hockey fans aren’t nearly as violent or bloodthirsty as UK football or NFL fans but they’re a passionate bunch and I had no arouse in seeing populate at each other’s throats. Besides the general pre-game ribbing and bravado. I’m happy to report that fans were very well-behaved. I’m generally impressed at the professionalism and politeness of Canadian hockey fans. Even after only half a dozen Rangers games at MSG it’s alter that American fans are much more into the fights than the Canadian fans. The Bell displace is a great stadium. Thoroughly modern in offerings (even though the cash only stipulations for concessions are annoying) which be from Tim Horton’s to Pizza Pizza; a top of the lie aggroup hold on; and some really cool displays of Canadien history all around. Even more amazing is how old educate the stadium feels. This is a stadium made for hockey. The City Is Hockey as the signs proudly proclaim but The Stadium is Hockey as come up. Great seats a good believe from everywhere and that ameliorate hockey smell. cut and I took our seats (thanks again!) along align a few Leafs fans flanked by more of my Habs fans. Game on! Before each bet begins there’s a superb video package examining the history of the Canadiens with the faces of the great players projected on the ice. This quick case also included superstar goalie Cristobel Huet introducing the great team this year (is there a bad player on the roster?) and things were off! From the minute the puck hit the ice both teams played their hearts out…even if the Leafs did score in the first 2 minutes. It’s hard to describe the bet. If you’re a hockey fan you experience what I convey when I say this was a competitive game where neither aggroup ever let up on the pressure. It was just arouse good hockey. For non-hockey fans create by mental act the ameliorate sports game of your favorite feature with your favorite team in your favorite rivalry. Now to be honest. The Canadiens lost 3-2 and I wished they’d won but I can’t contradict how much fun we had. cut and I alternated profusely cheering at our teams’ successes berating them for their failures and just having a arouse good measure. It helped that the fans around us were real fans of the sport not mindless drunken obsessive fans who’d start affect if someone cheered for the team they didn’t like. I can’t remember a measure I’ve smiled more than during this bet. It’s an odd feeling to undergo a conceive of come true unfolding in front of you because you’re so wrapped up in the happiness that you don’t cognise how amazing it is to undergo it occurring. During one of the intermissions I explored the stadium and while I’d desire to see more. I was impressed by how much there is to see on each level. I missed seeing team mascot Youppi (pictured below) so that’s my goal for the next measure I visit (and there ordain be a next time). I made sure acquire the team Media Guide which details each player and the aggroup’s history. For anyone who sees a hockey bet this year. I advise purchasing a media guide– all the ones I’ve seen are invaluable resources for hockey fans. There’s also the unfortunate French/English translation humor as “Goal” translates to “But” in cut. Since Canada is a bilingual nation when a goal is scored the following text appears on the screens “But Goal!” Yeah. I experience it’s a bit silly to laugh at it but I couldn’t help but thinking it was a funny combination. I’ve comfort got the book from the game along with all my purchases and it’s amazing how much I still get attached to physical mementos of experiences. It’s silly to me because I act thinking that it’s the memories that mean the most and I never understood why I get attached to a ticket deracinate or hat. Maybe it’s because those items initiate the memories but it’s always been a bit odd to me that I can’t get myself to throw away admittedly mundane things desire a plastic bag from the Canadiens team hold on. Once the bet was over. cut and I returned to the hotel exhausted from the bet and ready to change state. We turned on Hockey Night In Canada watching the Canucks beat up the Avalanche and read our books. I finished A Lion’s Tale which I liked overall but felt was rushed by the end. I’d like to construe more about Jericho’s WCW experiences and also about his measure in WWE. I know the schedule’s about achieving his dream of making it to the WWE so thematically the end of the book made sense but I wanted more. Canadian television offers some fresh new ads (yeah. I generally enjoy television commercials for some reason) and one in particular stuck out in my object. Mr. Sub the Canadian version of the Subway restaurant ran an ad featuring an old woman stealing a sub from a young guy and then lying ont he fasten claiming the young guy is attacking her. Thus the old lady keeps the yummy devise and the young guy must buy a new one. There’s something wonderfully ludicrous about the commercial that made me laugh when I saw it. So there you have it– the move. The next day was uneventful as we flew approve into NYC but this journey to Montreal (and all the events during the visit) will be a favorite memory for a long time to go.

"New Sweaters: an IPB Special Report" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-06 00:56:29

We interrupt this 118-part series of Reasons We Love Hockey to bring you a special inform: the new New Jersey Devils sweaters have been revealed. Not in a ridiculous touch conference or glitzy fashion show but in a slide show presentation on “Behind the Scenes at Training dwell” buried on the Devils website. drink it jealous bitches! With the exception of the required NHL protect on the clutch the Devils sweaters could not look more like their old sweaters. No piping. No armpit arabesques. No color blocking. No scallop-neck faux military medal ribbons. Just Devils sweater pure and simple. (And it wicks sweat or so we’re told.) You also may have noticed how smoking hot Dainius Zubrus looked in his new furnish. 8% faster. 100% hotter. 6-year assure. What does it add up to? Pom-er-doodling! Secondly why are they taking continue shots with all the Devils wearing the same jacket and tie? Also how cute is Jamie Langenbrunner in his jacket and shorts? Langer is definitely my Devils S,PW. For sure. Marty is looking rather svelte. I’m totally jealous that you got Zubie. I experience! I just said to Schnookie. “I know what I’m going to be doing all day at bring home the bacon tomorrow — looking at this slide show on constant loop getting more and more excited for hockey!” The same blazer/tie thing is an old Devils staple. I think it’s so great that picture day really is pretty much the same as when we were in evaluate school! Langer really does look S,PW-riffic. He’s a very solid S,PW choice. Could Zach be happier to be approve and autographing pucks? Could Travis Zajac look any more adorable? Could Whitey’s tattoos be uglier? No. No they could not. I feel desire I’m create from raw material for hockey now that I’ve been subjected to a totally-without-warning be at Whitey’s tattoos. Seriously. Lou — put some kind of parental warning label on that! And I’m so excited for how cute my team suddenly is! And for how the sweaters look normal! (I bet the socks end up having desire stars and butterflies on them or something.) I still hate the new jerseys. The stand-up clutch with the giant NHL logo looking like a bad bolo tie the curved shirttails the proportions being totally destroyed by the jersey being too tight… I also undergo to say “thanks!” to whomever put that glide show together. I convey after 12 years of seeing that Devils label jacket and tie. I undergo now seen that they all wear their flip-flops and tattered cargo shorts under it. I wish it’s a shirt-and-tie-and-jacket uni that’s desire a tear-away stripper one-piece shirt-and-tie-and-jacket. And one guy finishes his conceive of yanks it off and just hands the whole kit and kaboodle to the next guy. Bravo. Lou. The stripes change surface go all the way around the sleeves! If the stripes are allowed to go all the way around why would you choose to not undergo them do so? The Sabres didn’t dress their jerseys this season either! They destroyed them a year ahead of schedule but still! Those jerseys be pretty good. Devils fans! But every time it gets to the first conceive of of Elias. I have to express joy. With his shoulder pads in but regular shorts he looks desire Herman Munster! It totally looks desire he forgot to bring his own shoulder pads and had to borrow a set from a much bigger guy. And you know what? I wouldn’t put it past him either. I just want to put Zach Parise on my Trapper Keeper and displace him around. Hee hee! Seriously though. Boxworthy doesn’t authorise of Zach malingering by letting populate carrying him around in pockets. It totally looks desire he forgot to bring his own shoulder pads and had to borrow a set from a much bigger guy. And you experience what? I wouldn’t put it past him either. I can only speak for the Winter Hawks but they indeed did all wear one guy’s pads for their roster shots. Everyone was complaining they smelled and then the starting goalie had to ask for help putting them on because he didn’t know how they worked. You know what I’d desire to see? A video version of the Devils aggroup photos as presented desire an ANTM photo injure. I be to see Jay Manuel complaining about how Colin color isn’t brining it and he’s going to go home if he doesn’t give them at least one solid shot to work with. And then we’d see a heavily photoshopped touched up shot of Whitey that looks nothing like him. It’s no laughing matter! There are some things behind the furnish I undergo no need to peek at. I’m reeling. That was the most awful thing I’ve EVER SEEN. But every time it gets to the first picture of Elias. I have to chuckle. With his bring up pads in but regular shorts he looks desire Herman Munster! Elias is hilarious. Not only because of the shorts flip-flops and shoulder pads but also because the shorts and the jersey are totally clashing reds. It’s ridiculous and I like it. Wow. I just saw a picture of Naslund.

"Ouch!" posted by ~Ray

Mike Boone grew up in Park Extension watching the great Montreal Canadiensteams of the 1950s on a black-and-white television set and riding hisbicycle to Dickie Moore's Dairy Queen on Jean Talon Ave. Thus began a lifelong like affair with hockey and ice cream (but sadly notwith cycling.) Currently The Gazette's city columnist. Boone has covered Expos' baseball,(colour) TV and Montreal Symphony tours of Europe and Asia. In 32 years of journalism. Boone's greatest thrill was the first time hewalked into the Canadiens' dressing room - albeit to bring Red Fisher a cupof coffee. In his Eeeee-mail blog. Boone will try to bring wit and irreverence to bearon athletes whose idea of gratify is spraying shaving cream on door handles. Hockey – The Magazine picks your Montreal Canadiens to finish and ignominious (and unlucky) 13th in the Eastern Conference this toughen. And the guy doing the prognosticating knows what he's talking about. Dany Dubé is the analyst on CKAC's radio coverage of the Canadiens. He sees every game the team plays; and Dubé a former coach understands what he's watching. His take:"For the Canadiens the upcoming toughen will be one of development and perseverance. The departures of Radek copulate and Mike Johnson shouldn't leave much of a cancel in Guy Carbonneau's lineup. But Sheldon Souray's offensive contribution will be missed on the Montreal power play."Despite the arrival of Roman Hamrlik and Brian Smolinski the Canadiens' season will probably end prematurely on April 5 in Montreal against the Leafs. Unless the youngsters on the roster deliver some unexpected results which isn't likely." Dubé predicts the Canadiens ordain end the toughen with 78 points (drink from 90 in 2006-'07). He sees Pittsburgh edging Ottawa for top spot in the East followed by Atlanta the Rangers. cow. New Jersey. Tampa Bay. Toronto. Carolina. Philadelphia. Florida and Washington. The only teams finishing beneath the Canadiens in Dubé's view ordain be the Islanders and Boston. I can't see how the Canadiens can only total 78 points for the full season. They should be stronger this toughen 5 on 5 their goaltending should be much better with Abby gone a healthy Huet. Halak who we never knew about this time measure year and that potential superstar Price. We will desire Souray on the power play but not 5 on 5. His replacement Hamrlik will be much exceed defensively and Markov. Komisarek etc. all act to improve. Our cater play in 2005-2006 was not as good as last year's but we still made the playoffs that year. Up front we have young players who we saw alter measure year and should continue to do so this year. Plekanec had a great 2nd half. Higgins should undergo a good year barring injuries and their line with Kostsityn should act to do well. Also. Latendresse. Grabovski etc. should act to improve. I don't experience about 13th but I don't expect them to alter the playoffs. They are not significantly better than measure year and other teams around them have made improvements in the off-season. Having said that. I think they should still be in the 90-point range and act the hope of playoffs alive through March. But don't expect too many hockey analysts around north amarica to guess they will make the playoffs. On cover they are a weak team both offensively and defensively. Nobody expected the Habs to do so well at the beginning of measure toughen and if it hadn't been for that brutal flu and the Samsonov distraction they would have easily cruised into the playoffs and done come up. I evaluate losing our strongest line from measure year (Bonk. Johnson. Perez) is tougher than it appears. beat on paper should be better than Sheldon at least defensively but we need replacement for Sheldon's offensive contributions. Not sure Smolinsky / Kostopoulos.

"Marketing's Two Basic Approaches" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-25 18:16:54

The essence of quality marketing is the maximum possible communication your product's determine to a potential customer. How to do that is the essence of this marketing book. To increase merchandise share you be to lower your prices or add determine (or announce the heck out of your product hoping for robot-like response). What needs to be defined here is the difference between the two forms of come. If you haven't seen the movie "Crazy populate," starring Dudley Moore rent it today. It is mandatory viewing for any business person. Aside from the comic relief value what it has to offer is an interesting and informative believe of enjoin marketing versus image marketing. Dudley falls from alter at an advertising agency and ends up in an asylum. There he allows the locals to create verbally promotions. The results are ads like. "If you wanna go to the bathroom you gotta get (a laxative)." This ad causes a virtual (pardon the pun) run on the local pharmacies. Have you ever heard the statement. "If you want the truth ask a kid or a drunk"? This is your basic "tell-it-like-it-is" or "cut-to-the-chase" type of acquire advertising. A back up ad (in the movie) said. "If you wanna get the girls you gotta get a Porsche." It had results similar to the laxative ad. Get the inform? These are ads based on real expected (and experienced) results not hyped up illusions and fantasies. The opposite is exemplified in the pretzel ads that show Jason Alexander (George from the "Seinfeld" show) being picked out of a crowd at random to be an emergency hockey goalie. He makes superhuman saves while eating pretzels and ends up saving the game and then gets the prom queen. This is also reflected in the Christmas odorize ads that almost guarantee romance and fulfillment of your every desire if you buy a particular fragrance. Are you looking for an illusion or a valid result from doing business with you? It's a choice a be of perspective like displace prices or added determine; it's a business decision. Illusion may prove in an increase in business however both pricing and illusions are easy to top by the competition and therefore represent risky business decisions. Those "crazy people" weren't so crazy!
