"Wolverines' Kampfer seriously injured" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-10-18 05:12:56

Senior Michigan defenseman and captain Mark Mitera looks to miss a significant amount of time after injuring his knee last Friday night. (Photo by UM Photo Services) It's not been a good year so far for Michigan defensemen who also happen to be draft picks of the Anaheim Ducks. First in last Friday's game against St. Lawrence senior captain Mark Mitera injured his knee and could be out for the rest of the season. He was Anaheim's top pick in 2007. Then early Sunday morning junior Steve Kampfer was reportedly assaulted by a member of the Wolverines' football team. According to the Kampfer a fourth-round selection by the Ducks in 2007 will be out for an extended period of time after being thrown head-first into the sidewalk during an altercation. "I can't tell you that (Kampfer) did anything bad," Michigan coach Red Berenson told the paper. "He just was a victim." That football player is a freakin goon. Heard he was trying to nail Kampfer's woman and thats when the trouble happened. That jackass should be thrown off his lousy football team. A back up scrub ex-wrestler injuring a guy who's already been drafted. That total horse shit. Knowing the way Bitch Rod ran his group of felones at West Virginia nothing will be done.

"Monday links + college football thoughts" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-12 02:46:45

There's some challenge about which was the bigger disturb. App St over Michigan or Stanford over USC. Technically by point spread the Stanford disturb is bigger. I actually evaluate the App St disturb is comfort bigger though because they're a I-AA educate that was paid to go to Michigan to take a season opening beating. Stanford at least is a Pac-10 school that plays D-1 schools all year. Although Stanford does suck something horrible. I saw their only other win of the toughen in person against San Jose St. and Stanford was not good. Regardless of which is the bigger upset both say something. Regardless of who you're playing in college football you better come create from raw material to compete. If you get supremely arrogant like Michigan and USC did and don't take your opponent seriously you might find yourself looking at the worst loss in school history. It's also funny that Pete Carroll seems to be getting approve to what he was known for during his stints in the pros - that he's not a good coach. Great recruiter though. As a prove of that Stanford shakeup we now have an AP poll that goes LSU. Cal. Ohio St.. Boston College and South Florida. That's uh a bit different from what I'm used to. On to the links. MLB is about to go the NFL in be revenue. act what? []Roger Clemens has a habit of getting an "injury" when he doesn't pitch well in the playoffs. []What do you do after losing a game to a 41-point underdog? Get hammered of course. []A batting champ against a pro wiffle ball pitcher. I'm definitely intrigued. []Some thoughts on that Travis Johnson outburst. []An change state letter to Philly sports. []Manny Ramirez from a historical perspective is quite the player. []For you 5 hockey fans out there a weekly recap. []Some arouse that C. C. Sabathia won't be pitching Game 4. []-WCK
