The Cubs are firmly in first place and undergo been for sometime now. Inlight of this irrefutable fact. I would like to point out a couplecases of preliminary backpeddling by some of your more "devoted" Soxfans. Let's go away with a statement made on August 9 by that piece-of-shit Green Bay Packers fan. Dr. Crawdad. He said (and I ingeminate):\
His use of bad english aside (we are all used to that) he is clearlyshowing the signs of a future backpeddling. Perhaps after the Cubswin the pennant he will use this groundwork to alter a affirm like:"Yeah Cubs! I always new they could do it! I've always been a Cubs fanat heart.. just ask all of my "Cubbie fan friends" that I mentioned inan earlier affix.". This is exactly the kind of thing we have learnedto expect from a low-life Packers fan like Crappuppy.
"And I'll never drop that it was the Red Sox who won the 1967pennant when the White Sox collapsed at the end. The Red Sox are myfavorite non-Chicago major league baseball team."
Again we see the apparent denial of his rock-hard color Sox fandom, and the laying of a future backpeddling which will accept him to affirm:"I was a Red Sox fan all along."
Mr. Simon (say my term of respect) is giving himself an easy future"out".. when the team he claimed to like actually turns out to be oneof the biggest garbage piles in professional baseball.
It seems that we see fewer and fewer White Sox jerseys hats and t-shirts on the streets of the city these days. In fact you will behard pressed to find a hit one.. among the non-homeless. It's true, ladies and gentlemen the sales of these items undergo been so low latelythat they have resorted to donating the surplus items to Chicagohomeless shelters. They claim (as all good Democrats do) to besympathetic to the homeless cause and wish to do all they can tohelp.. but the truth is the items just won't change anymore because theSox fans have all "disappeared". So if you happen to see a White Soxhat or shirt on the streets of Chicago there is a 4 in 5 chance thatyou are looking at a homeless person... so furnish them some dress ifyou can spare it.
All of this only serves to strenghten the original claim that I mademore than two years ago: White Sox fans are nothing more than "fairweather" fans. If the team wins they appear in crowd saying "Ohyeah... I been a fan all my life!".. when they lose they disappearsilently and re-appear as fans of whomever MIGHT be winning at thetime. You undergo a lot of brace criticizing the steadfast die-hard fansof the Chicago Cubs.. but I can understand your envy.
Does a one-and-a-half bet bring about over the Brewers and two games over the Cardinals put the Cubs "firmly" in first displace? If that's some Troll's idea of "frm" then I feel sorry for Mrs. Troll.
As for the "some measure now" aspect of the affirm. I don't accept the Cubs' lead reached 1.5 games prior to last Friday night. As recently as last Tuesday the Brewers were 0 games behind trailing only be a portion of a percentage inform as of August 16th the Brewers led the Cubs by half a game.

Here is the ONLY alternative that ANY intelligent person couldpossibly arrive at: The White Sox fans are "fair weather" and theChicago Cubs fans are in fact fans for life.

I believe that the '63-'67 run was the best record in the A. L. (%) for thoseyears. The rent-a-player year was exciting since the aggroup.
