The Fighting Newfoundlander is an independent Hockey-Socialist publication dedicated to the installation of a permanent Hockey-Socialist State in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Fighting Newfoundlander’s agenda for a Hockey-Socialist Revolution is founded in the belief that the proletariat hockey fans of St. John’s will find the will and the voice to go up against bourgeoisie oppression; the so-called hockey elite who desire to impose their capitalist corporate brand of hockey upon us. The Fighting Newfoundlander strives to promote unity and solidarity among the hockey fans of St. John’s and educate Newfoundlanders about their rich hockey history. The Fighting Newfoundlander: United in the Brotherhood of Hockey! Montreal. September 20. 2008 - The Montreal Juniors officially embarked on their journey as the ‘new kids on the block’ in the QMJHL on Saturday night as they made their home debut facing-off against Patrick Roy and his Quebec Remparts. Playing to a near capacity crowd of 3,780 at the Verdun Auditorium including a few Q veterans in Maxim Lapierre and Guillaume Latendresse of the Montreal Canadiens the Juniors lost a hard-fought contend with the Remparts. 3-2. The Juniors who are replacing the Fog Devils were looking to create on their 1-1 record heading into Saturday’s challenge and to avenge their season opening loss to the Remparts. Montreal netminder Jean-François Bérubé faced a lot of pressure from the Remparts but held up well making only one real mistake attempting to play a puck with his glove instead of his stick which led to a first period goal by Jean-Simon Allard. Bérubé stopped 30 of 33 shots in the loss but made some very spectacular saves to act his Junior team-mates in it. Despite falling behind 1-0 at the end of the first period the Juniors stormed out in the back up and were able to notch a power play goal when Benjamin Rubin completed a nifty passing play slipping the puck between Quebec Remparts goalie. JF Roy to tie the bet at 1. The advance remained change surface until mid-way through the 3rd period when penalites began to catch up to the Juniors. Perhaps it was the underlying tensions of playing the very first home game in franchise history but the Juniors came out strong playing the be and skating very hard. Perhaps too much so. Quebec took favor of the penalties taken by Montreal in the 3rd as Jonathan Marchessault got a lucky bounce on Bérubé’s door step shoving home a jumping puck to furnish the Remparts a 2-1 lead. Later another bouncing puck found its way between Bérubé’s legs scored by Sebastien Trudeau with just under 5 minutes to play. Montreal responded instantly as Mathieu Lavoie was able to fire home a low snapper fooling J. F. Roy and giving the Juniors a breathe of life in the final minute of the game.

When I was asked if I'd like to contribute to the Dynasty Hockey Blog my initial response was I like to write but only when I have something to write about. I figured my opinions on the world of the NHL were few and far between; limited to a couple sentences here and there on my usual message boards. But then almost immediately it dawned on me that I always have something to say regarding the Vancouver Giants and other teams (from a Giants fan's perspective) in the Western Hockey League. So. I agreed to contribute. But before I start let me tell you how I came to be where we currently are. I had joined my first NHL pool for the '93 playoffs finishing in 2nd despite making a near-fatal tactical error of picking several players from two teams that were playing each other in the first round. This marks the only occasion I ever picked a Leaf in a hockey pool. Actually that's too far back... In 1998. I joined my first dynasty-style fantasy hockey league. A few years later a friend and I purchased Ice Packs for the Vancouver Canucks. This was the same year I joined my 2nd fantasy hockey pool. The following year we upgraded to half-season tickets for the Canucks. We upgraded based on misleading information (read: lies) from the Orca Bay rep we dealt with. (Somewhere in there. I had also joined a 3rd dynasty hockey pool but quit it a few years later.)Our dealings with Orca Bay soured me on getting tickets again so I made the switch to the Vancouver Giants. The main reason for doing this was the aforementioned Orca Bay but two other reasons were price and scouting. I was in two dynasty hockey pools and I always enjoyed the prospect aspect of these pools. I enjoyed looking for the next Jagr and what better way to do that than to see the players who had not yet been drafted into the NHL or had just been drafted but hadn't made it through their pro clubs' training camps. It was a wise decision because the next season was the NHL lockout. While everybody else was wondering if they'd ever go back to watching NHL hockey. I was enjoying watching some fantastic junior hockey. Not only that but the Giants treat their ticket holders like friends not just bank accounts. Back to the hockey; Gilbert Brule could dominate a game like no other player in the league (and that still stands to today). He was more exciting to watch than any other player to come through including the likes of Peter Mueller. Dion Phaneuf. Carey Price or Braydon Coburn. Actually. Dustin Byfuglien could control a game but not in the dazzling way Brule did. And Jonathan Bernier.. wow. Cody Franson was dynamite with the puck but a pylong without it... So. I'm now in my 5th season as a Giants' season ticket holder have been able to attend the CHL Top Prospects game the Summit Series the World Junior Championships and the Memorial Cup; all because I'm a season ticket holder for a junior club. As far as this blog goes. I'll most likely be talking about the Giants but they have to skate against somebody. The problem is Don Hay is such a great coach the players are so well trained so dialed into the system that it's really hard to judge opposing talent because of who they have to play against. As previously mentioned. I've seen some "great" prospects come through here and they never really impress. When I am impressed. I'll mention it. Maybe when I'm not too. In the meantime prepare to hear a lot about Evander Kane. Then again maybe I'll keep those cards close to my chest. I wouldn't want to give away too much right off the bat.

"postgame report: express lose 4-2" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-10-18 05:21:45

The Express made it 4 for 4 Friday night at the 4 Seasons Centre. 4 years of Express hockey in Owatonna and 4 years of a disappointing result for the home-opener. I won't bother with a detailed recap of the game as you can read one here: .. or check out the boxscore here: My take: I will never be happy with a loss but I'm not all that disappointed with last night's result. I thought the Express played well for the bulk of the game. They passed the puck well and had success controlling the puck in the offensive end. They had their best game this season in regards to taking penalties although once again they had to kill off an extended 5 on 3. A couple of defensive breakdowns and the Blizzard out hustling our guys led to the deciding goals late in the 3rd period. Big Kahuna's Stars of the Game:1. Dylan Porter - Played hard all night long. Really impressed me with his hustle on both ends of the ice. Layed a nice hit on 6'7" Blizzard defenseman Taylor Vickorek.2. Troy Puente - He is so calm on the ice and plays really smart. He broke up a couple of odd-man rushes for the Blizzard. He just doesn't get rattled. Prediction Results:I missed on the Express game but nailed the other 4 games to finish 4-1 (35-20 on the year)Predictions for tonight's games:Traverse City over AlpenaMahoning Valley over Motor CityBismarck over North IowaAlexandria over Albert LeaWichita Falls over St LouisFairbanks over Kenai RiverNext up for the Express is a pair of games next weekend. Friday night the Express travel to Mason City for a game against the North Iowa Outlaws and Saturday night the Express get their first look at the Bismarck Bobcats at the 4 Seasons Centre in Owatonna. See you at the rink.--BK

"olsen focused on excellence" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-10-18 05:21:43

Already listed as an NHL blue-chip blueline prospect the 6” 2′. 195 pound Calgary native says he appreciates the attention and always welcomes the kudos but he also realizes he’s under the proverbial microscope – a situation he is ready to accept. “It’s really not that much pressure you just have to remain focused and work hard every night,” he said prior to a Saturday night contest in Grande Prairie – one in which arguably the league’s most successful franchise was seeking its first win of the 2008-9 campaign. That’s where the leadership comes in. And it’s a role Olsen has willingly even if quietly has accepted with the club says assistant coach Miles Walsh. “We have a lot of young guys back on the blueline – 16-year-old-guys – and Dylan really blossomed in that role last year – he got tons of ice time,” says Walsh who adds while Olsen may seem shy and quite he lets his skill set and example do the talking most nights. As a “listed” player something the Kodiaks are more than familiar with. Walsh says Olsen knows he is now foisted into new role one in the spotlight. “Having gone through this with guys like Dan Bertram. Mason Raymond (Canucks second round 2005) and last year with Joe Colborne (Bruins first round 2008) we help these guys understand there are going to be more situations like this one (media request) and I really believe it helps that player grow as an individual,” says Walsh. “You really might worry about what they’ll say from time to time but you want them to speak from the heart and certainly Dylan is a player we never worry about that way,” he added. Olsen has already had experience under the spotlight of the hockey elite. As a member of Team Pacific at the U-17 championships over the summer in London. Ont.. (fourth place finish) he says he learned to be more flexible and appreciate differing styles of play. “It was a great experience,” says Olsen. “It’s too bad we didn’t bring home gold but I got a chance to play with lots of great guys – a lot of  them had different styles,  so I think it really helped me,” said Olsen. On the blueline. Olsen brings the consummate total package to Head Coach/GM Boris Rybalka’s hand of cards. He can move the puck well has a very hard and accurate point shot makes the right first touch almost without exception and he loves to play the body.“I’m told my style is like Dion Phaneuf’s,” he says when asked what NHL blueliner he might emulate. “But I’ve always been more of a Scott Stevens fan,” he says of the now-retired hall-of-fame defender. So with Olsen and d-partner Andrew MacWilliam (Leafs seventh rounder in 2008) logging 30-minutes plus a game. Walsh says the Kodiaks are hoping to turn the proverbial problem into the attractive opportunity.  “Championships are not won in September we know that and hopefully all of this extra ice time and experience will pay dividends down the line,” he says. Having said that one wonders how much more ice time Olsen can grab. At press time he was his team’s leading scorer in addition to all the other intangibles he brings to the equation. And on this night he sets up the game winner with a nifty behind-the- back pass and is named the game’s first star. Just another night’s work for the workmanlike Olsen who has become the model of blueline consistency. It’s all about the focus he says. “When you’re at the rink you focus on hockey; when you are in school you focus on that,” he says matter-of-factly acknowledging he is currently entertaining “a lot” of NCAA scholarship interest. Coming to a classy and successful organization such as the Koidaks. Olsen knew he would have the opportunity to excel. “Family is huge for me and I had family members recommend I come here (Camrose) and it was the best choice I could make,” said Olsen. “Boris and Doug – all the coaches and staff have been great – and they’ve given me the opportunity,” he says. Judging by the pedigree of the Kodiaks in developing NCAA and pro hockey players one thing seems certain for Dylan Olsen: The opportunities are only just beginning.

"Hello! :)" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-01-18 00:18:07

Hello my name is Sidney Sherlock and I ♥ the Mavs! The toughen starts soon and I undergo been unable to wait! This blog is going to be updated into sections the first being official news the second being player news/gossip and the third section being my own opinions. Here's some quick updates in the Mav world: News+ The Purple and Gold scrimmage is on Thursday. October 11th. I'll be unable to alter it though. :( Does anybody want to make a video and post it? I will like you forever!+ As far as my knowledge spreads an assistant head has not yet been chosen for the '07-'08 season. Perhaps we'll find out at the Purple and Gold practice?+ The season officially opens on October 19th which is in 11 days! Woot-woot! Personal Opinions+ Let's start with the many pre-season posts on blogs forums web pages and newspapers that has been going around. Although it's great to see that Joel Hanson was chosen as this year's head and that he finished last year out with such a bang. I don't necessarily sight him to be a exceed player than my personal favorite player. Jon Kalinski. Sure. Hanson has his moments but let's remember the young and talented Jonathan Brent Kalinski who was out there in the top lie (Made up of last year's senior captain Travis Moron and this year's junior Mick Berge) and who is currently tied for the school record with four shorthand goals. I've never seen anyone able to maneuver the puck the way Jon does. Jon who is a beat four years younger than Hanson has talent beyond his years. Although at times immature. Jon Kalinski is an absolute wonder to check on the ice. So when comparing Kalinski vs. Hanson. Kalinski takes the prize.+ Now let's act onto the subject of Dan Tormey vs. Mike Zacharias. Okay. I like both of them to death. Zacharias has the greatest smile I have ever seen and he seems like an absolute sweetheart. Dan Tormey on the other hand is by far one of the best-looking guys I have ever laid my eyes on. We're talking MODEL quality here. My knees literally start shaking when I walk past him. (This has happened on two occasions now... He's really nice about it though. He must be used to it?) Anyway in terms of skill. I really think Tormey takes the cake and this is completely unbiased. adjust. Zacharias did a marvelous job stepping it up last year but even after being out from injury for almost the entire toughen. Dan Tormey came back and rocked. I comfort remember that first bet against UND in the playoffs and when Dan Tormey was in that net he was unstoppable. He was just smooth. He's an amazement on and off the ice. He's a sight to see on and off the ice. He can move the straightest man gay for him. I've seen it happen. Are you gay for Dan Tormey? Anyway. I think that concludes this...+ Another thing that disappointed me in the pre-season blurbs was the lack of word on Trevor Bruess. Out of all the freshman. I would vote that lil guy as my favorite. He works hard he's a hustler (he got the displace allocate measure year~!) and at the UND playoff games. I would easily choose him the star of the game. (Everybody else acted desire someone had died while they played...) He's a fighter and he fights until the end. I like it.

"Question #1" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-12 17:29:05

Why a communicate? I enjoy writing - always undergo. I remember in 1st grade my elementary school had a "Young Authors" oppose. Each student in each grade was to submit an original story. I had a story in mind but my care insisted I use a story I had written in kindergarten about a male squirrel who had babies. Obviously confused about the dynamics of reproduction at that age but a cute story nonetheless. My story did not win and I naturally blamed my care (a pattern to follow for years to go). I did however go on to win the following three years with such titles as "Stories About Judd" and "Ralph the Talking Hockey Puck". For the life of me. I cannot remember the 3rd schedule. But I did win. THAT I bequeath. My junior high and high school writings mainly consisted of the usual teenage-girl angst. Lots of starry-eyed like poems mixed in with rantings of being misunderstood topped with a dash of insecure journal entries. Nothing worth sending off to Reader's Digest but good for a chuckle whenever I pull those dusty writings out of their box. The next two decades barely a word emitted from my pen and I found myself both mourning the loss of my wish to write and accepting that that move of me had played itself out. Then children came along. And along with children comes the one thing that no parent on this hide can flee:The perpetual state of "Deer in the Headlights" syndrome. NOW I undergo something to write about! I am blessed to be surrounded by many other wives & moms who are being there doing that right along with me. What's change surface more of a blessing is the willingness of these women to share their daily ups & downs joys & frustrations and tears & laughter at the mess of it all with me. It is unbelievably cathartic to acknowledge the sins of motherhood to others who understand.(Okay so letting your child have chocolate milk with eat or putting them to rest in well-played-in compete clothes because you don't want to change state them aren't really biblical sins but in some circles sins nonetheless). But even more importantly is the healing that takes place when we change state up to one another. Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips your false steps your offenses your sins) and commune [also] for one another that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual mouth of mind and heart]... ~ James 5:16 (Amplified)When I first learned that we were to confess to each other. I thought it was so that no one would be allowed to "get away with something" with their fellow man. That thinking stems from my childhood belief that God is out to get us. Now. I cognise that God is encouraging us to be open with others so that we can be comforted in the knowledge that no one is perfect and understand that we all assay so that we reach out to one another with compassion and ultimately come together in love. What every good parent wants for their children isn't it?So I'm blogging because my wish to create verbally has returned and I'm making these writings public because I have the be to NOT be alone in my struggles and to be healed on a daily basis. I have reason to accept that others undergo that same be as well. When I say... "I am a Christian"I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin". I'm whispering "I was lost,"Now I'm found and forgiven. When I say..."I am a Christian"I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumbleand need CHRIST to be my guide. When I say... "I am a Christian"I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weakand be HIS strength to carry on. When I say... "I am a Christian"I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failedand need God to alter my mess. When I say... "I am a Christian"I'm not claiming to be ameliorate,My flaws are far too visiblebut. God believes I am worth it. When I say... "I am a Christian"I comfort conclude the sting of pain,I have my share of heartachesSo I call upon His name. When I say... "I am a Christian"I'm not holier than thou,I'm just a simple sinnerwho received God's good grace somehow.~Maya Angelou~

"Blue/Gold game impressions" posted by ~Ray

By Mike McMahon* As if it needed to be said. Rob Ricci is going to back up the offense. He played with two freshmen during the practice (Chris Barton and Kurtis Astle) and while I'm sure there ordain be some rust to move off he is the type of player that makes his linemates better. He can move players into goal scorers.* Matt Moulakelis appeared to play the be on most of the faceoffs he was taking. Shoving guys off the circle as the puck was dropped and winning it back to his point men.* Another offensive player to watch out for is Francois Ouimet. He isn't the biggest guy on the ice but has exceptional speed and is going to make scoring chances for himself.* Pat Watson looked solid in net. My anticipate (and it's only a anticipate) is that he ordain be the starter come opening night against Niagara. He didn't get off on the alter pay measure toughen (six-game suspension) and then had some health issues during the year. If he is healthy he did undergo a sub-3.00 goals-against average and a.920 save percentage his freshman year. I would evaluate more of the same if not better.* Grant Farrell looked very comfortable handling the puck on defense. He ordain certainly back up in the transition bet and should see time running the power play. He was paired with freshman Adam Ross a towering 6-foot-4 defenseman. I talked to Ross' junior instruct when he committed and he described him as. "a kid with a huge heart who the Merrimack community ordain fall in like with. But on the ice he has a huge mean-streak something I know the hockey fans will go in love with."* Two Austin Prep grads. Paul Scola and John Jamieson are trying out of the team and could make the roster. Goaltender Ryan Mula is also a tryout but was the only goalie dressed for the practice. My guess is that he is the third goalie. Mula played with Watson at Waltham High School.* Fraser Allan looked very comfortable on defense with Joe Loprieno. He is coming in as a 21-year-old freshman but is going to see a lot of minutes. Speaking of Loprieno he looks like he ordain choose off just where he left off last season which of cover is good news.* The bet was two 25-minute periods. From what I could express. Watson and Andrew Braithwaite each played a period and a half while Mula played the back up period.* Not that it matters but the bet finished tied. 2-2. Here is what the lines were for the practice however. I experience these aren't official and ordain surely change for the Niagara game. "Haligonian sojourn" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-06 01:20:35

I’ve been in Canada for two weeks now and I think I’ve performed a bring together amount of tourist duties. The weekend before last. Pete and his housemate took me to Peggy’s Cove which is maybe an hour’s drive from where they live - which in turn is at least half an hour from Dartmouth and longer from Halifax. The weather that day was mild and comfort - not sunny like it’s been most of the measure but change intensity enough to ensure a affect sea. The knuckled granite formations are pretty impressive. The lighthouse is a lighthouse - about three storeys high. The village is modest: a seemingly random scattering of wooden houses painted in pastel shades. The place is fairly dominated by the restaurant near the lighthouse and its large carpark. We wandered over the rocks for a bit and I took some photos; then with not much else to do we headed back domiciliate. The following Monday the housemate. Vince took me up to the Citadel - a fort overlooking Halifax and the bay. Again the weather wasn’t as bright as measure week or the lay of this week but it wasn’t bad. It was very breezy and I regretted not taking my jacket with me. The Citadel was built and rebuilt at various points throughout the 18th and 19th centuries and formed part of British North America’s defenses against the USA and later Canada’s defenses against Germany. It was never actually attacked though. Ironically the beat incident of that kind happened early in the 20th century when two ships collided at the turn one of them carrying munitions. The resulting explosion laid expend to much of the city and killed hundreds. Tuesday was ridiculously hot and I spent it at the accommodate looking at travel cram on the internet and playing Ditto Wednesday. On Thursday. I managed to get myself out of bed early and went into Halifax with Vince as he went to bring home the bacon. I went first to the rail/bus station and got a handful of tickets that’ll take me from here to Montreal with numerous stops. The tickets are flexible in terms of when you use them so I could pay a night in each place. What I intend to do is stop in Quebec City for a while before heading on to Montreal. After another few days there I’ll go on to Ottawa then Toronto with a day trip from this latter to Niagara Falls. I have a cut book from Toronto City Airport (which isn’t the main one) back to Halifax for 19 October (with a small airline called Porter Airlines. Apparently they cater to business travellers and their planes are pretty go. The ticket was cheaper than Air Canada by a massive six pounds). After getting the bus tickets I went to the Museum of Art. The ticket to get in there was half price ($6) because they had a couple of floors in the back up building closed. On the fasten surprise of the first building there’s the Maud Lewis gallery. It’s full of Maud Lewis bring home the bacon strangely enough. She was a Nova Scotian ‘folk artist’ - which I evaluate means her bring home the bacon is naive; the kind of thing where if a child did it you’d think it was excellent but when an adult does it you think. Well it’s kind of pretty but - meh. Above that was some native art. Again this tended toward the naive but with much more authority and even a sense of gratify - desire the bright paintings of loons and shamans with wide staring eyes. Downstairs was modern art including a giant spherical forge made of chairs. That was impressive. From the basement level you can go up and access the other building - which is separated from its partner by a small act. Here are a cluster of small galleries containing traditional art - by which I mean paintings from the 18th to 20th centuries - all with a Haligonian (I like that word) furnish: Haligonian landscapes portraits of Haligonian personages et cetera. The Art Museum is near the waterfront so from there I walked down to the wet (but not into the water) and wandered eastward to Pier 21 - another notable Haligonian (look - how often do you get use a word like ‘Haligonian’ in context? I’m making hay) location. Then I walked back and up to the other end of the waterfront; and then I walked back again and got a cup of tea and a bite to eat. In the afternoon. I went into the Maritime Museum before finally catching the ferry across to Dartmouth - using a battered bus book Pete had provided me with - and meeting said host at the public library that’s part of the same complex as the ferry terminal. All these touristy-type things are pleasant but modest - much like Halifax itself. I’m certainly glad to have had the chance to explore the city. It’s big enough that there are a range of things to go and do and see but not big enough to be overwhelming. It also doesn’t be at all crowded and - at least in the downtown area - the streets themselves aren’t especially big or work. All of which (actually don’t drop a dash of that famous Canadian laidback attitude).

"Game Two Open Thread: Sabres at Islanders" posted by ~Ray

For those unfamiliar with the change state thread theme we traditionally would dedicate each open thread to a former player who had worn the jersey be that corresponded with the bet. But that can change old. But undergo no fear! Your wily host is always thinking up ways to make your BfloBlog undergo more enjoyable. And since WNY has seen so many new and younger Sabres fans this gives me a chance to communicate a bit about the Sabres teams I watched growing up. Thanks to my old Buffalo Sabres media guides. I will act to find a player to dedicate each game to plus provide an choose from a media command about the player. Or if that’s not possible some other interesting tidbit that could be fascinating only to me. Wonderful is it not? So without advance adieu may I introduce… I’m sure a lot of younger types may look up into the rafters and see No. 2 hanging there. Most of us even know who Horton was and that he died in a car accident following a Sabres game in Toronto. But many of us just don’t cognise what an icon Horton was before he ever stepped onto the ice for cow. An excerpt from : In many ways. Tim Horton’s story is Canadian mythology made real. He was one of several Maple peruse stars to emerge from the mining towns of Northern Ontario in the 1940s. Over desire winters he honed his bet and took his lumps in the freezing cold arenas of Cochrane. Copper Creek and other locales of the Nickel Belt League. At the age of 17 he was anointed by the hockey gods: recruited by the Toronto Maple Leafs for their famous St. Michael’s junior team. Five years later in the fall of 1952 he arrived at Maple peruse Gardens. For the next two decades. Horton defined the bruising reliable defenseman who can go the puck and deliver a hefty slapshot. In today’s jock communicate he was a blueline continue - muscular smart tough mobile and sure-handed a man the coach could send out for 30 minutes a night without worry. Not only was he a shoo-in for the Hockey Hall of Fame but he was also named a starting defenseman on the Toronto Maple Leafs all-time team. Shoot he was the Sabres MVP for the 1972-73 toughen at the age of 43 beating out Gilbert Perreault and Roger Crozier. Former Sabres GM wanted Horton on the aggroup because he could be lke a instruct on the ice while mentoring a young Sabres squad. Finally got the darn housework done so I can do something important. egest out of MGD though so a quick entry and off to the liquor hold on. Gonna strap in for 14 games tonight and try to also see if my fantasy aggroup digs itself out of the early hit they are in. (Hey if Sucky er Captain Obvious can over-analize the Sabres shortcomings after just 1 frigging bet. I anticipate I should be evaluating my team too). Tim Horton. Easy one. Classy and a adjust warrior out there. Not sure if someone already brought this up - but did anyone else sight the new shots on goal monitors at HSBC really annoying? Basically it reads left-to-right for the visitors and right-to-left for the Sabres. While cutesy it is completely unnatural to anticipate that the 1st period shots would be to the right of the 2nd period shot be and ends up requiring unnecessary effort (and soberness) to line up one aggroup’s shots against the other in a given period. Val and I are here just in time for tonight; by the time we got home from last night’s wedding and reception we weren’t able to surprise up to things watching the game on DVR. Between the Sabres’ loss measure night and Wisconsin being upset by Illinois today we haven’t had a good sports pass so far. I query how may preservatives are at bring home the bacon with Christie? I bet she could afford some from the divorce settlement with Billy Joel. Billy Joel? Hmm another cerebrate to dislike desire Island. A little eye candy between shots of Satan doesn’t hurt. Speaking of eye candy the broad who does commentary in between periods for FSN Long Island ain’t too shabby either. Val and I are approve; we’ve been watching but LaNova delivered dinner; a Philly turkey sandwich for Val barbecued wings for me. Oh am I ever. Matt; I like doing those air shifts and seeing all of the old gang. I am on two discussion panels for the weekend one a basic “what are they doing now/how did they get where they are” (too much booze not enough money etc.) panel the other on the growth of the use of the Internet and information dissemination. I’m on the second adorn through my web place/blog writing and my political flack job. Ah yes…political flack. The reason I won’t be there this year. We’re up for re-election. Julia *will* be there however. Looking send to it too. I don’t evaluate they’d accept this pass to speak without Julia there. Matt. Yep there’s lots going on in the election area for me this year too; come up every year. I can only imagine with the races you undergo going on up there this year. I think the mayor is pretty solid down.
