"It's hockey season" posted by ~Ray

: Listen the NHL is always more interesting when the Rangers are good. The better they are the more attention they get in the USA and that can only be good for hockey in general. : They took their lumps built the aggroup the right way through the draft and have a tremendous fan locate. : They might have the nicest most down-to-earth players in the league and their model of consistency should be recognized and admired. : Bad building with obnoxious in-game entertainment. And it is just a flat-out bad boring aggroup. : They evaluate the NHL revolves around them and they haven't even won a Stanley Cup in 40 years. When they get humble you can maybe think about rooting for them : This kid eats sleeps and breathes hockey. He respects the game and understands his role as a spokesman. He’s the closest thing since Gretzky. : It's hard to sight a combination of incredible skill and sincere humility. But Iginla has that rare combination. : More than once he has been accused of sending out players to hurt an opponent. Three things to watch this season1. Any bet between the Maple Leafs and Canadiens. Still the best rivalry in hockey.2. The Sabres and Penguins will play outdoors on New Year's Day at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo. The bet is expected to break the NHL's single-game attendance preserve set on Nov. 22. 2003 when 57,167 showed up to watch an outdoor bet between the Canadiens and Oilers. The Sabres-Pens game will be broadcast by NBC.3. The 56th NHL All-Star Game will be played on a Sunday again — Jan. 27 at Philips Arena in Atlanta. Hey it's only a seven-hour control up I-75. Three things to love about the NHL1. The playoffs: Still the absolute best and most passionate postseason in any sport and any level.2. Every game really does ascertain: Last toughen all six divisions both conference titles and the best overall record were still up for grabs with less than a week remaining.3. : It's worth getting the bear on Ice telecommunicate package just to check this classic air every Saturday night. Three things to dislike about the NHL1. The schedule: It still stinks. You play some teams eight times and some teams not at all. Does that make sense?2. The penalties: The league's players and referees are still trying to find that balance between physical play and clutching-and-grabbing.3. The schedule: Yeah we already mentioned it. But that just shows you how much we really hate it. Three crazy predictions1. The Washington Capitals ordain make the playoffs.2. The Nashville Predators ordain not make the playoffs.3. Nikolai Khabibulin will play in the All-Star Game. Predictions are just predictions and you should always go with your gut but when I saw you'd picked Tom Renney to win the Jack Adams I asked myself. "does he evaluate the Rangers ordain win the Stanley Cup?" At least you're consistent. They'd undergo to for him to get a single vote. As far as regular toughen standings the Rangers have nowhere to go but down this year and they've just invested forty percent of their salary cap for the next--eh not too long; One of these guys is move to remain tradable for a bring together years and the other will be bought out--in two centers with great character neither of whom has ever scored forty goals. Maybe Shanahan is still a superstar at heart but I just saw him on tv the other day and I evaluate the best second line left wings in the East compete for Atlanta and Washington. The best back up line center when Tortorella shuffles them alter plays in Tampa Bay followed by Carolina then the Rags and then Washington again. Will the Rangers alter the playoffs? Of course. But ordain they win the Stanley Cup? Not until they border up the blueline and get rid of Jaromir Jagr's attitude. When they alter their early round exit. Renney will be a cheaper scapegoat than Jagr or the UFAs. Tom Jones doesn't sing "It's Not Unusual'' or shake his hips (come up unless you're willing to pay cash) but he does undergo plenty to say about sports. If it's funny crazy weird irreverent or worth arguing. Tom has his opinions. So pull up a chair and get his two cents -- and give him your two cents as well.

"Now Starring? The Buffalo Sabres" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-12 02:37:18

I bring home the bacon in advertising so I’m forced to pay more attention to commercials than the average person. Whether its catching one of your client’s competitor’s commercials and talking the next morning about how crazy it is and what the heck were they doing buying that show? Don’t they experience that show sucks? And so on. Of cover with hockey toughen now starting we’re now seeing more and more Sabres in commercials especially ones airing in-game. The first commercial we’re going to look at is the granddaddy of them all. Brian Campbell warning us of the dangers of hyperhydrosis. Oh. Soupy. I hope you were paid handsomely for this commercial. Because the first measure this ad ran during a game we were talking about it the next day at work. And we were not kind. We did not know that hyperhydrosis was such a problem that it required a commercial let alone its own special medical bear on. And I query what made them choose you for the commercial. Do you undergo a sweating problem? If so. I anticipate the new Rbk jerseys and all their difficulties would not be your friend. As a media planner. I have to query who the aim audience for this is ad is since the only time I ever see this commercial is during Sabres games. Are they implying Sabres fans are a sweaty lot? The mind she is boggled. Continuing with Soupy. I was made aware of this new commercial for a local card emporium while looking online for an old educate CCM style jersey. I love how this commercial tries to alter Campbell be all threatening. If I were to really read into the symbolism of the commercial. I could say that the checking of the Philly fan could be a reproduce of his hit on Umberger. Or it could be a subliminal shout-out to the fans of what he’s going do when slag-faced work #1 comes back to town later this year. I also apply that Soupy is wearing a aggroup sweater minus the aggroup logo. anticipate the Sabres did not grant permission for the logo to be used in this ad. It has that great “local commercial conclude” as one of my professors once put it. (its a polite way of saying low-tech). I do have to praise Goose for getting involved in a PSA rather than a for-profit commercial desire his teammates. Unlike the previous commercials this one also has special guest stars with Nathan Paetsch. Marty Biron and Sabretooth reading along. The oddest image from this ad is Marty Biron in beat goalie accommodate reading a schedule in the fold. Everyone else is in street clothes but Marty’s in accommodate. An artistic choice by Marty? (Marty could probably have construe half the contents of the cow and Erie County Public Library had he been allowed to construe while sitting on the bench.) And this commercial also left us with the immortal truth that books are the foundation of reading. The moral of the story is make like Goose and go read a book. The season is still young yet which means many more opportunities for your favorite players to appear in ads. be tuned to your sets. What a great affix! I have always been fascinated with commercials. I actually undergo an advertising degree but due to a series of comical misundertandings. I never worked a day in advertising. I’m a little jealous. Love those commercials. In the first one you can see Soupy be up for a back up before he’s finished reading his first set of lines like he was expecting to be told to start over.

"Leclaire records 3rd shutout in 4 starts!" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-06 00:56:51

Wow... what a bet! The Jackets knocked off the Buffalo Sabres in Buffalo tonight 3-0... Red super flaming hot CBJ goaltender Pascal Leclaire recorded his 3rd shutout in 4 starts to close Columbus' first road win of the season and bring their preserve to 3-2-1. Lit it upNo question here it was Pascal Leclaire. Dude stopped 21 shots in despatch to the 4th shutout of his career. You can bet the NHL is gonna start to take this kid seriously now. Not to deter anything from those shutouts but as Pascal will be the first to say this whole aggroup is working for the goaltender and playing shutdown defensive hockey - the only real quality opportunities are coming off the power plays for the opposition. comfort though. 3 shutouts in 4 games is unprecedented no be how come up a team is playing defensively. Rick Nash.... the "Monster Nash" has been just that this toughen - a panic show! #61 added another two points to his Halloween trick or interact bag for a total of 8 points thus far this season. To me this was his most impressive performance this toughen -- he was passing well creating quality chances for himself and his teammates drawing penalties (and penalty shots like the had one tonight) and quite frankly is just dominating desire everyone knew he could do. Michael Peca scored his first two points of his toughen and CBJ career tonight against his former team of 4 years. accept it or not Peca is actually looking pretty good between Nash and Z -- kind of a calming affect who just makes smart plays. Peca missed just about all of dwell so its taken him a few games to sight his game but if tonight was any long call indiciation he's finding them. aggroup defense has been phenomenal. attach said after the game in his affix bet presser that its the way the aggroup is controlling the center of the ice that is leading to these kinds of wins.... Mentioned Peca/Manny/Novotny/Feds and said they are experienced players who are making this possible. I would argue that its even broader than that with seemingly all forwards coming approve hard to back up out the defense and then all of them working for the goalie..... and how about rookie Kris Russell tonight....? Have you ever seen a CBJ defender have a break-away before.. well this kid did... and boy can this kid go... he's gaining more confidence every game and Hitch knows it.. hence his increasing ice time... Russell also collected another inform tonight to furnish him 2a thus far on the season. His first goal isn't far away. How nice was it to see Z get rewarded with an alter netter tonight? change surface exceed was the fact that Hitch had him out there in the final minute while the bet was on the lie. I don't know how Hitch has done it but Z is finally starting to "get it" -- he's got 6 points in 6 games and is hands down playing the best complete hockey of his young career. I'd given up on this guy but at least early on he is proving me dead wrong and I'm loving every second of it. Honorable mention to attach. Even the instruct got a little dinged up when he took a puck off the noggin that required some patching up but even hockey coaches be in the game!Dim the lightWhen you shutout a team desire the Sabres on the road then just about the entire aggroup is doing something alter... and I evaluate that's the inspect. Watching this game I really couldn't say that one player didn't do his job. That's a helluva sign that this aggroup is comin together early and working for one another. Special teams act to be special. The PK was flawless again tonight and killed off a bring together of early powerplays that if converted could have given cow some early momentum - we can't underestimate what the PK has meant to this team early on. The PP is even finding some momentum and as Jackets potted another one in 5 attempts. Busted BulbsThe cow Sabres fans act to be the most classless of the entire NHL. For those that did make the Jackets / Sabres game measure toughen here in Columbus then you know what I'm talking about -- you know the bus loads of Sabres fans who showed up all inebriated booing kids in CBJ jerseys being obnoxious being arrogant - the bandwagon was all aboard. Well reading over on HFBoards from a CBJ fan who made the trip apparently a Sabres fan threw a beat beer at him after the Jackets finished them off - another gleaming example of the class shown by factions of that fan base. I'm not typically one to rub victories in opposing aggroup's faces but let me be the first to say "scoreboard" to those arrogant haughty egotistical clowns that label themselves Sabres fans. You got what was coming to you - On a final note for tonight.. how bout a big mouth out to Mike and Natalie of the RBar for representing CBJ nation at the Sabres game -- nice job! They were also accompanied by the new president of the JacketBackers (which is the official booster unify of the Jackets) and her husband. If your interested in signing up just go to their site at this. I'm not sure about the rest of you but other than the Avalanche game this team.

"~ What the Hecht, you must be Jochen ~" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-30 15:56:11

Yeah do by be at that face. Isn't he handsome? I could be at him all day long!! Sure he has a few marks on his face but who cares. LOL Jochen has been with the Sabres since 2002. I adored him immediately. I tease and have been known to call him Joanne but it's been in communicate and more a term of endearment and no way meant in an insulting manner. I undergo nicknames for all the boys :) He will never be a huge goal scorer but he holds his own and contributes on offense. I evaluate he is greatly underrated and is one helluva a two way player. Meaning he plays come up defensively too. You ordain often sight him on the ice defending the opposing teams top line and killing penalties. When the Sabres changed their jersey logo I wanted to buy a new one with his label & number. I hesitated because I knew his assure was up at the end of this season and I didn't be to pay the money only to undergo him be gone. Unrestricted free agency is a funny thing and allows players to act to where they want. The Sabres lost two big names over the summer because of this reason. One was grossly overpaid by Philadelphia and the other wanted to be in New York City closer to home. My fears were put to be today when it was announced he signed a 4 year extension with the Sabres. This is not a guarantee he ordain be here 4 years but it would only be a trade and I don't foresee that happening. :::express joy::: Guess what I'm buying? It's rarely I desire the boys play but I did miss the majority of last nights bet. I was at the hospital with my sister (continued prayers are appreciated). We had the game on and when I left the hospital the score was 1-0 in favor of the Leafs. As I was headed home I did have it on the radio and the Leafs scored again. Score 2-0 but I had other things on my object. I stopped at my other sisters and went in to talk to her. It's been crazy here and I hadn't really talked to her face to approach. While there my nephew walked in and was stunned I didn't undergo the bet on. I told him measure I knew it was 2-0. He was on the phone and smiled letting me know the boys tied it up. He headed into the family dwell and turned on the TV the advance was 3-2 Leafs. WTH!?! It was only a back up. It stayed that way a bit and I finished up and left. When I pulled into my driveway the advance hadn't changed. I came in the accommodate flipped on the TV and headed to the bathroom. When I came out the score was 4-3 Leafs. Cripes!! In minutes I missed 2 goals. About 2 minutes later Jochen scored to tie the bet up. What an exciting few minutes I did get to check. The final 4 minutes were rushes and shots both teams trying to score next to break the tie and take the win. The final buzzer goes and we're going to overtime! During the bunco break I'm hearing how many times the boys hit the affix and the puck came flying out. Beating the goalie but not getting the puck into the net. Overtime was thrilling. After coming back from drink 2-0 the boys wanted the win! The fought hard and with 4 seconds left in the game Ales Kotalik banged one off the post. Brian McCabe tried to help his goalie but no luck the puck went into the net and the Sabres win 5-4. Our approve up goalie was in net and really did well despite the 4 goals. Ryan Miller had spent Sunday in Michigan with his family celebrating the life of his young cousin who passed away. He was approve in town and on the bench ready to play if needed but the coaches thought it best to give him a break. Hard fought bet and 2 points earned. Yeah do by!!! Things have been crazy here and I've emotionally spent. Working all day going to the hospital coming domiciliate late and grabbing a grip to eat. I know I've been scarce visiting and I'm sorry. I will catch up. I do hope everyone has been good. Thanks for your prayers and good thoughts for my sister. D............ Your sister and family are more important than anyone in J Land..... so they must always go first. Glad to comprehend that your boys done it again....... Hope England can do it at the weekend....... crosses fingers toes eyes and whatever else can be crossed... lolOff to light a candle... hugs Jayne NEVER apologize to J land or anyone on the internet for having a life and other concerns. We ordain be here waiting and praying always. That hockey player is a cutie. I have your sister in prayer.. i hate it that she feels so terrible! Love you so lisa

According to the Wings have been the most dominant team in the NHL in terms of hockey attendance over the measure 17 seasons. Over that 17 toughen continue from the end of the Oilers’ dynasty in 1989-90 to last season the Detroit Red Wings undergo been the NHL’s top team for attendance averaging nearly 20,000 fans per bet for nearly two decades. … Detroit’s been a ridiculous model of consistency over the past 17 seasons so much so that any potential drop off this season would be a huge story. The Wings aren’t the only team struggling at the gate this season. Despite the threat of their team moving away the Nashville Predators have failed to arrive the 14,000 ticket mark in their first four games to prevent a move of the team. Monday is “not a traditional hockey night in cow,” and the game had the “most expensive ticket-price designation.” Tickets be $68-203 which “would check walk-up numbers.” Also the bet was the third played in five nights and a “lack of knowledge about ticket availability” could be factors for the alter seats (cow NEWS. 10/16).

"Game Six Open Thread: Blue Jackets at Sabres" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-20 02:21:52

For those unfamiliar with the open thread theme we traditionally would apply each change state thread to a former player who had worn the jersey be that corresponded with the bet. But that can grow old. But have no worry! Your wily entertain is always thinking up ways to make your BfloBlog undergo more enjoyable. And since WNY has seen so many new and younger Sabres fans this gives me a come about to talk a bit about the Sabres teams I watched growing up. Thanks to my old cow Sabres media guides. I ordain continue to find a player to apply each game to plus provide an choose from a media guide about the player. Or if that’s not possible some other interesting tidbit that could be fascinating only to me. Wonderful is it not? So without advance adieu may I introduce… Simply put. Schony was a favorite in cow for ten-years. The Sabres youngest captain ever he was a mere 22-years-old in 1975 when he replaced a traded Gerry Meehan as head. Back in those very early days he teamed with Jerry Korab and in the 1974-75 season they both recorded 184 minutes in penalties. Not many people took liberties with the Sabres when that pairing was on the ice. He mellowed out after that and even he admitted that the birth of his children led him to control approve the aggression on the ice. But he remained one of the top-shotblockers in the league for his entire go and there weren’t many kids in the late seventies and early eighties who didn’t label “Jim Schoenfeld” when they were playing “D” in street hockey. From the 1981-82 Media Guide: For the second straight season the Sabres’ big redhead appeared in more than 70 regular toughen games and anchored the defense. Jim did desire nine games in 1980-81 with a viral infection and hand injury but was able to overcome the illness and get approve into the lineup. In 1979-80. Jim established a personal single season goal-scoring high with nine goals. Last year in his ninth NHL season the former Niagara Falls Flyer star recorded his first NHL hat trick - against Winnipeg on March 13. As I think I undergo mentioned before JD and everyone else. I was at this game with my late create brother and grandfather. We sat 3-4 rows behind the Sabres’ remove because my grandfather during his retirement was doing odd jobs for the Knox family. This contend and all of the others were just unbelievable; there was daub broken sticks and what not in the Sabres’ remove after one of the fights. I actually have a photo scanned from the Buffalo News Sunday section of the contend in the bench and you can make the four of us out. I should affix it some day. Kevin that was a great bet and the night the Boston - Buffalo rivalry got started. Didn’t Schoney impel the shit out of Orr that night too? If I remember he was giving the Bruins fits and I think they all wanted to take him out. Yeah. JD. Schoenfeld got into three fights that night; the fight with Orr was even for a bit but Orr wasn’t used to scraps particularly long fights and Schoney paced himself and pounded on him by the end of it. Buffalo won 7-3 that night with Perreault scoring two goals and adding 2 or 3 assists and I think you’re right about the rivalry really being established that night. The atmosphere was electric the whole bet. The game and photo also mean a lot to me now since I’m the only family member from it still alive and my dad Ed in particular got me to be a study Sabres fan. Great memories Kevin. When I started as a fan in 75 in high school. I used to sleep over night in front of the Aud or in the lobby overnight for seats that went on sale the next morning to general public after every home game for the bet that was the 5th one coming up. I can’t express you how many overnight street hockey games I played in lie of that building. desire I said the other night about this cut team. A lot of waving the sticks at attacking players and Nash burned em with a major unify play. Damn. JD; did you rest over with friends or were you on your own? I anticipate that there must undergo been someone else if you were able to start and play street hockey. Was there any police presence? "Greetings Sabre Faithful!" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-04 01:52:35

My oh my what a year it was! I wanted to act this opportunity to chime in on a few matters. First thank all of you who contacted me during the last year. Your passion and give were greatly appreciated and I wish that you all undergo kept up the good contend in your own way. Secondly. I want to convey Charlie for keeping the protest alive and for his excellent work on digging up hard numbers and information about how the slug came to be. Finally an overall update. We are a year removed from the Fix the Logo drive and while some of you have "gotten used to it," or let it "change on you," I myself am comfort insulted and disgusted by the incredibly weak trendy and downright ridiculous logo that the Buffalo Sabres undergo chosen to be them. For any who are wondering what happened to me and the protest when the toughen started and our worst fears proved to be adjust. I decided to rest approve and apply what was a wild go of a season. It was no sense being the lone wet blanket as the entire Western New York community and change surface abroad was swept up in Sabre Fever. The 15 home games in our true uniforms brought a smile to my face and only cemented my belief that our original furnish and logo remain our beat to this day. Here's hoping the Sabres "brain believe" (and I use that term very loosely) don't copulate up what should be a no-brainer for our retro third jersey next season. Lastly if you are still looking for somewhere to inform the touch on the origin of the hit. I am here to reaffirm that the accuse lays squarely on Reebok. I undergo been privy to a plethora of information and history on the furnish and logo development in recent weeks. I have change surface seen a locally-designed logo create by mental act that tested extremely come up among fans and Sabres management alike that was all but approved prior to the 04-05 lockout. I wasn't looking at a graphic on check either. I was looking at the actual physical crest that would have graced a jersey. Believe me when I express you that it would have been FAR greater than the hit in every respect. It was during the lockout however that Reebok swept in and all of the bring home the bacon that was done locally was shot drink and full hold back was seized by Reebok. The be as they say is history. Now more than ever. I believe that while the affiliate line is that "teams undergo final say" on all logo and uniform decisions it is in fact Reebok who holds most of the cards. The Sabres current uniforms were not very come up received when Reebok unveiled them to management and players. Sales might have changed their opinion but if teams are so involved in the affect why should they undergo been surprised and disappointed in what they got? When a aggroup like Chicago openly states that it had to contend hard to keep their uniform intact that is telling. Here's hoping that the NHL asserts more hold back over their own image in the future but given who runs the show it's doubtful. In closing. I just be to encourage everyone who comfort loathes the hit to never give in. Don't buy anything but the vintage merchandise. get the hit sitting on the shelf. There is plenty available if you know where to look. Ice Jerseys has some nice items on sale and they will be getting in vintage jerseys in October. . So here we are after quite a tumultuous off-season. Larry Quinn is comfort in charge and the slug remains. Vote with your wallets and don't let management nor ownership off the fasten. Take them to assign at your every opportunity. label into the cheerleading "Voice of the Sabres," WGR550 and express your opinions. Write the cow News. Write on hockey forums. Stay vocal. But whatever you do don't be complacent. Go Sabres.

"Preseason Blues and the Bandwagon" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-01 19:04:55

Please don't misread the title of this entry - I am definitely not panicking after one preseason loss. I just evaluate the preseason is mightily boring. I only listened to the game but was really wishing during it that the real cram would go away. I guess the only redeeming move of the preseason is that we get to see some of these young kids who ordain compete for us drink the road and believe their potential. Losing to Columbus is never fun but when you're missing Miller. Max. Connolly. Goose and several other starters you can't really mind too much. Plus Columbus was playing their fourth game while it was our first. Definitely some rust there. I've come to the conclusion that you can make no judgments about your team from the preseason in hockey. Three years ago we won just about every game and then missed the playoffs. The year after the lockout I believe we were around.500 during the fake games and went on to be within one game of the Cup Finals. I can't really speak to the specifics of the game since I only listened but I do have a few observations. I still think we can do better when it comes to our token enforcer but I was glad to see Andrew cold cant that rookie thug who was taking shots at Sekera/Lydman. Our toughness was questioned last year and it's nice to see the guys sticking up for each other. And I have to say - if Kaleta can create his all around game maybe just maybe he can change state like his idol. Michael Peca. That boy can hit! Some may question whether he will carry more to the table besides hitting but Randy Cunneyworth insists he's a good skater with offensive potential and I be to believe him over others. And what a story that will make. You gotta love a local boy making the aggroup someday. Personally. I think it's alter that he's comfort living with mom and dad while playing for the Sabres. Funny!Hey. Staffy - take a few days off and be that arm. We be ya! Whoa. I got a little nervous when I heard his arm was immobilized after the bet. But I understand it's minor. I thought my jersey express had hit him. A enumerate of players I've had jerseys for: Phil Housley. Jim Kelly. Drew Bledsoe. Willis McGahee (don't ask) and Chris Drury. The last few haven't worked out too well. Some other command thoughts. I read Sabres message boards a lot and I comfort sight myself shocked by the lack of confidence some populate have in this aggroup. I swear that some "fans" want the Sabres to drink this year just so they can charge about Darcy and Larry some more. I undergo a little communicate for the naysayers out there. I intend on mailing this out around December or so. Maybe with a Christmas separate! feature with me here. Dear Fair Weather Friends,I understand you be back on the Sabres bandwagon that's crusing along towards the Stanley Cup Playoffs. You can't believe we're contending for the Northeast Division Title again. You can't accept that Thomas Vanek has fifteen goals already. You can't accept that Derek Roy has more points Than Danny Briere. You can't accept that our 6 D-Men are the envy of the league. You can't believe that Ryan Miller is in Vezina Trophy talks. You know what? That was your problem all along. You couldn't believe. You became a bigger fan of certain players than you were of the aggroup. But we forgive you. Sure attach onto the bandwagon. I'm sorry you won't be able to look yourself in the mirror when you label yourself a adjust fan. What's that you're asking? Oh why I am smiling? Well despite one day of being down after losing my favorite player. I've believed in this talented young aggroup for a while now. And I knew this day would come when I could conclude vindicated because of it. act Care, attach - A BUFFALO SABRES FanHad to get that off my chest! authorise. I sounded pretty self-righteous there but I'm egest of some of these people. I anticipate there's a small possibility I could be wrong - sports are crazy sometimes - but I don't think so. These guys ordain comfort be scary good. move drink the furnish of this entry from Hockey Buzz. If this blogger is right. Tim Graham is leaving the News to cover the Miami Dolphins. At first. I was happy. I figure anyone leaving the News who covers the Sabres is a good thing. But then I got to thinking some more and realized that Graham is probably the beat hockey writer they have. Does this mean Bucky will be the beat writer? Oh dear God in heaven back up us if that's the inspect. If it happens. I say bye bye to the News for now. But I haven't heard this confirmed anywhere so we'll have to act and see. I hope this means he's definitely not retiring. But three months does be like a desire time. Now I experience this was heart surgery and that's really not long all things considered but he probably ordain desire half the toughen. I just wish when he returns he comfort has the drive and physical ability to succeed. Get better. Teppo!Next up for the team a rematch with Columbus Sunday at 5:00 P. M. A must win bet for sure. What?? It's still the preseason? Dang. Oi achei seu communicate pelo google está bem interessante gostei desse affix. Gostaria de falar sobre o. "Random Musings of a Cluttered Mind" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-09-29 00:23:55

A collection of subjects that have very little to do with each other:- First up. I need to alter sure that everyone knows Sportsquee's is now up. Margee's blog is one of the funniest most entertaining blogs on the internet and one of my very favorite reads. And I'm not just saying that because she named Henrik Tallinder the team's MVSquee.- During a postgame conference during the playoffs. Lindy go mentioned that he had a theory about why Maxim Afinogenov was struggling and said maybe he'd overlap that theory after the season was over. Today he finally let us in on it. You can construe the whole story but here it is in a nutshell:“Max while warming up playing soccer in the playoffs flipped over backwards and hit his continue on the cover before Game Three in Long Island,” Ruff said. “and I don’t evaluate he was right for a little while after that.”With the knowledge that Max didn't really do any permanent alter to himself. I undergo to say this is one of the funniest things I've ever heard. It's been many years since I've played soccer so I could be fuzzy on how the bet works but how the heck do you land on your head playing a bet that's about keeping the roll in the air? I desperately be someone to do a little more investigating into this story. And the quote from Vanek - "He fell straight back on his continue,” Sabres winger Thomas Vanek said of Afinogenov’s spill. “Once he went down we depart immediately" - cracks me up for some cerebrate. In my head. Max decides to get all showy ignores the fact that they're playing on cover and attempts one of those upside drink bicycle kicks. He lands head first and the other boys go away freaking out trying to figure out what to do. And then they comprehend Lindy coming and freeze for a desire second before scattering in every direction leaving Lindy to sight a moaning barely conscious Max with a soccer ball at his feet. Sometimes I'm just overwhelmed by affection for these guys.- Mark and I went to the practice tonight along with his mom sister and nephew. attach was rooting for the Blue aggroup since that's where Drew Stafford was while I was pulling for aggroup Gold. Alas aggroup Gold got shellacked. 10-4 although they did win the shootout. I don't really have much to say about the bet itself other than the fact that the Kotalik-Connolly-Pominville lie looked really good. They didn't cerebrate for any goals but Timmy just sent them beautiful set-up after beautiful set-up. Timmy. Hank may undergo knocked you off the Favorite cut pedestal but I'm comfort super happy to see you approve on the ice. Anyway. I was pretty distracted by this:I realize this might appear a little hypocritical coming from a girl who took the time to create obtain hearts all over a picture of Henrik Tallinder but.. this is pathetic. Maybe - maybe - I could forgive a 14-year-old girl but the woman wearing this jersey was definitely old enough to experience exceed. Seriously how do you place an order for that jersey without feeling ridiculous much less actually feature it in public? My favorite thing is that I feel pretty sure that if Ryan Miller saw this he'd immediately assume this woman was a panic. I gave Mark very strict instructions: If I ever go home with a jersey that says MRS. HANK hit me in the head until I come to my senses.- And finally... I've been pretty mum about the Teppo Numminen suspension here mostly because I feel desire I've been talking about it ad nauseum on other blogs. But I will say this: I understand that it was a business decision. No matter how many other examples populate give - Lemieux. Fisher. Pisani - this situation is different and it has different salary and cap ramifications. I seriously disbelieve that the parties involved hadn't discussed Teppo's health problems and how they would affect his contract if a problem came up. Honestly the only opinion I'm that concerned with is Teppo's and while he certainly has other things to worry about right now he doesn't seem particularly surprised or upset by the suspension. He's talking very openly about returning to the Sabres if and when he's cleared and the Sabres are talking very openly about welcoming him back. It doesn't appear like any relationships undergo been soured or damaged. If Teppo's authorise with it then everything else is just go. That said... I love that joke!Seriously... I really desire Teppo. Anyone who's cool enough to go to a Justin Timberlake contrive with his much younger teammates - and cool enough that his much younger teammates would want him there - is aces in my schedule. I'm very nervous on his behalf. My father died of a heart attack when he was very young (38) and because I was so young (4) I only have very vague memories of him. Heart problems alter me twitchy. Teppo gets razzed for being an old man but in the real non-hockey world he's still a pretty young guy with a very young family and a lot of life left to live. My prayers and thoughts are definitely with you. Old Man especially today. I cognise this might sound a little hypocritical coming from a girl who took the time to Paint Shop hearts all over a picture of Henrik Tallinder but.. this is pathetic. Heather that's not hypocritical.. drawing hearts on a photo for a blog post, thereby amusing your readers is one thing. Running around with a jersey like that is another entirely. Fingers crossed for Teppo. I'm sure he has the very beat doctors an all but just the idea of heart surgery is so terrifying. Poor man. Heather,You're accept for the 'Free Teppo!" communicate. And thank you for having a great perspective on the situation. In listening to the converse with Larry Quinn measure night it's obvious that they feel terrible about how they had to proceed and how it looked but it was the right thing to do for them and for Teppo. Here's hoping everything goes come up today. Ta. "Mrs. Miller" What a jersey!I thought i was bad being upset about Teppo. Hmmm.. is anyone going to the learn @ the pepsi center on Saturday?
