I went to the NMU Wildcat home hockey game today. Sure it was only an exhibition against the University of Toronto (CA) Varsity Blues but when your aggroup goes to town and lays the smack drink on their blue-clad asses by the score of 8-0 you tend to look send to the toughen with a bit of hope. Especially since last year was enough to alter even the most veteran puck fan cry. NMU pulled off two goals in maybe ten seconds. Hell. And when you get all the fans to bind together and alter life hell for the opposing players? That is what really makes the fans the reason a home arena/stadium/field a formidable displace.
