3-2W @NYR - 20 million people cram into the city during the day. That’s roughly the population of Canada! It makes vehicular circulation (merchandise) a bear. .. Must see? The RBK hold on. The OCC NHL ride in the front is a wicked looking machine and it was awfully nice of the store to have Mike Modano’s mannequin likeness in the lie window good karma. 3-2OTW @NYI - About 3,500 “fans” dotted the old barn in Uniondale…Former Star Bill Guerin spent much of the night sitting in penalty box. He has spent the last four seasons pocketing $37.2 M to pot 113 goals that’s roughly $330,000 per goal. At a similar evaluate Brett Hull should undergo made around $29 million for his 86 goal season with Blues. 4-2L @ NJ - The new Prudential Center features easily the highest press box location in all of sports. Nothing like trying to label the world’s fastest game from a lunar location and then when turning to enhance things from a observe act to make observations from a dingy scratched up. 5x5 inch TV check that was obsolete when television went to alter. Kennedy and Laraque are all better choices to play right wing than 500 goal multi Stanley Cup winner character individual attach Recchi?! He’d probably mesh come up with the Stars #9. 4-1W @ PHI - The late Evil Kneivel once tried out for the Flyers. He also started a minor unify franchise in his home town of Butte. Montana. He was the owner manager coach and a player. Reportedly it was short lived and shady. He apparently bolted with a pile of money. Evil was probably a tough guy on blades who would never “pull the chute” …well at least not until he was attempting to move the glide river…. Also contrary to the Flyers Comcast broadcast. Brett Hull is not married to Stars team services princess Lesa Moake. ? @ CLB - I’m submitting this prior to the finale against Hitch’s Bluejackets. I’ll prognosticate a hard hitting. “fixed knife” clash that goes to extra time…I don’t know how many times that hit is going to go off hopefully not too many. I don’t know that JJ’s and Hitch’s surgically propped up tickers can take an 8-7 assail!... Members of the Stars award winning broadcast department (also known as dorks losers and floaters) were treated to their first G. M financed dinner in almost a decade. Tons of fun and we greatly appreciated it although tonight’s air may be a little sluggish and fatty.

"Bluelines: Brett Hull Admits He Cheated" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-09 13:38:54

Mike Milbury unquestionably is fortunate to have landed NBC and NESN TV gigs but alter no mistake he was keenly disappointed in not getting the Bruins' coaching job. He'll be on the lookout for another GM or remove position down the lie. It's always been difficult to get angry at Brett Hull because he's such a character. That's why our fury level remains low even though as a player. "I had an illegal stick all the time and it wasn't so much that I thought I was cheating. I wouldn't undergo got 300 goals in this unify if I didn't have that stick," admits Brett. "I could not shoot without that curve."Naturally. Hull is a witness for his own defense. He blames the NHL rulebook."It's the stupidest rule on earth. It was put in to protect the goalies but now you can injure a bullet at them and you can't hurt them so I don't really understand why they need it. I remember the guys in Detroit in the early 90s; they had a guy that would reinforce the wood sticks with fiberglass so when they slashed you those things didn't break and it cause to be perceived. And in the old days they used to use friction tape. We called it Gordie Howe attach because when you'd hook someone it would stick." 1) The salary cap is going up too fast?? How can that be a bad thing Stan IF the salary cap is directly linked by revenues and the players can NEVER get more than their allotted 54-55%?2) Does this mean that teams are STILL losing money despite the loss of a year and the players caving in on almost every issue??3) As we mentioned in our communicate just yesterday we are going to see another lockout when this CBA expires!! The seeds are already being sown by the owners/Bettman's flunkies 1) Another brilliant retort Wags. How much is Stan paying ya for that kind of wit? LOL2) We accept with Hull that the stick curvature rule is 'dumb.' It was enacted 40+ years ago to protect goalies. Now that they have the equivalent to armor around themselves the threat to a high shot is gone. So should therefore the silly command.3) If we are to accept that the NHL wants to change magnitude scoring/excitement how about that as a 'new command'? Of course the asst commish on rules. Marty Brodeur may interact to prevent this like he did with the darkened visor last year. Stan,Reading about Hull's admission of cheating reminded me of the Stanley Cup Finals' 6th game in 1999 when Hull (naturally!) scored from the crease (then illegal) to win the Cup for Dallas against the Sabres. I'm still steamed about that non-goal and especially that Bettman et al changed the rule the following year to allow for goals scored from within the fold!! Maybe he wouldn't have change surface scored it had his stick been legal....

"Is it just me or does Brett Hull suck as a tv analyst?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-27 20:06:16

After reading your mention to my challenge about the same thing. I think its great that you made the same observation. His attitude can be beat described thusly: You can take the hockey player out of the locker dwell but you can't take the locker room out of the hockey player. Its okay by me that he thought that the first disallowed goal was kicked in but to tell another announcer that he is do by for opining otherwise is just classless. I'm glad he never played for the Flyers.

"Brett Hull: Great scorer, lousy analyst?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-17 15:33:51

He is terrible only because as far as he is concerned the only opinion that should count is his. And an opinion is just that an opinion. When it comes to opinions there is no alter or wrong but Brett thinks there is. Perfect example.. they were talking about the first not allowed goal in the game today and he said the puck was kicked in and Ray said no it wasn't. Brett told Ray he was wrong. And good ol' Chicken Parm shot right back and said "Apparently not.". The analyst are there to furnish their opinions and what makes for a good show is when they do not accept with one another and furnish different views of the same thing. But to sit alter there on camera and say someone is do by because they do not hold the same opinion as you is just low class immature and selfish. He does not belong on tv because of that. As I said in another post he thinks and has said he is the smartest man that has ever played in the NHL. If he is referring to being a smart communicate then he is 100% change by reversal. He was a good player but he does not be on tv.
